The Lionelo Berry has a freewheel function that allows the pedals to be disengaged from the front wheel. If the pedals are not currently turning the front wheel, the freewheel is activated.

To activate pedaling and allow the pedals to turn the front wheel:

Step 1: Locate the button next to the front wheel (this is the freewheel control mechanism)
Step 2: Press this button
Step 3: Retract the pedals by pulling them inward (parallel to the axle)

Once these steps are completed, the pedals will be directly connected to the front wheel. When the child pedals, the tricycle will move forward. This is the recommended position if your child is using the tricycle independently.

Note: You can return to freewheel mode at any time by pressing the button again and extending the pedals parallel. This function allows the child to pedal without the tricycle moving forward, which is useful when the adult is manually controlling the tricycle.
