The pivot arms of the HoldUp contain important fastening points that can loosen over time and with vibrations during transport. Here’s how to tighten a loose pivot arm:

Inspect all fastening points - Check the bolts and nuts that attach the pivot arm to the base of the support and to the upper and lower support brackets. One or more may have loosened.
Use the right tools - Equip yourself with the appropriate wrench (usually an Allen key or a spanner) to tighten the bolts. Do not overtighten: tighten firmly but without forcing, to avoid stripping the threads.
Test stability - After tightening, move the pivot arm by hand to check that it no longer moves. The movement of the arm should only be that intended by the pivot mechanism, without lateral play.
Regular maintenance - According to the manual, periodically lubricate the metal moving parts and inspect all fasteners before each use.
