Make the three essential connections of the multiport valve: the piping from the pump to the valve, from the valve to the drain, and from the valve to the pool return. Each outlet of the valve is duly identified. For the connections, use only plastic fittings and Teflon to ensure sealing. Do not use iron piping, hemp, or solvent that could damage the system.

Install the manometer tee with its seal, then the manometer and the purge cap (water degassing). No Teflon is necessary for this installation as sealing is guaranteed by the provided seal. Before starting filtration, wash the filter sand. First, set the multiport valve to “WASH” (BACKWASH), open the suction pipe valves from the pool, and run the pump for 4 minutes. Then stop the pump, set the valve to “RINSE” and rinse for 1 minute. After this operation, stop the pump and set the valve to “FILTRATION”.

Important: always turn off the pump before changing the position of the multiport valve.
