The PQS812 features an automatic configuration assistant that starts on first power-up. Here are the simple steps:

Quick initial setup

Upon powering on, an installation assistant automatically appears (unless the sensor has already been configured via IO-Link).
Select "Yes" to use the guided assistant (recommended method for beginners), or "No" to configure manually via the menu.
The assistant guides you through the essential settings.

Key parameters to set

Pressure unit [uni.P]: Choose from MPa, bar, psi, inHg, mmHg, or kgf/cm² according to your system.
Switching thresholds [EF] > [OUT1] or [OUT2]: Set the activation/deactivation points of the sensor (single point, two points, or window mode).
Zero calibration [tcOF]: If necessary, maintain the system pressure at 0, then go to [EF] > [CFG] > [tcOF] and select "Yes".

Subsequent access to settings

At any time, you can access the configuration menu via [EF] on the sensor's color display to adjust your settings. The LEDs indicate the status of outputs OUT1 and OUT2.

Tip: If your installation has a compatible IO-Link master, you can also configure the PQS812 remotely and perform an automatic backup of the settings.
