How to turn on the Optoma OPS200 projector?
Plug in the power cable, then press the Power button located on the top of the projector or on the remote control. Wait a few seconds for the image to appear.
What to do if the image is blurry?
Use the focus ring located around the lens. Turn it gently until you get a clear image. Also check the recommended projection distance.
How to connect a computer to the projector?
Use an HDMI or VGA cable. Connect one end to your computer's output and the other to the corresponding input on the projector. Select the appropriate source via the menu or the Source button.
The projector does not turn on, what to do?
Check that the power cable is properly plugged in and that the wall outlet works. If the Power LED flashes red, wait for the lamp to cool down before trying again.
How to clean the air filter?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the air filter cover (usually on the side). Remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner. Put it back. This operation is recommended every 200 hours of use.
What is the lamp life?
The lamp can last up to 6000 hours in normal mode and 8000 hours in eco mode. The screen displays a warning when the end of life approaches.
How to replace the lamp?
Turn off the projector and let it cool for 30 minutes. Unscrew the lamp cover on the back. Replace the old lamp with a new one (ref. SP.8K01GC01). Screw the cover back on and reset the lamp counter in the menu.
The projector displays 'No signal', why?
Make sure the source (computer, DVD player) is on and the cable is properly connected. Press the Source button to cycle through inputs. If the problem persists, test with another cable.
How to use keystone correction?
In the Display or Image menu, enable vertical keystone correction. Use the directional keys to straighten the image. A correction of approximately ±40° is possible.
