How to replace the lamp on the OPTOMA ZW506 projector?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Allow to cool for 30 minutes. Open the lamp compartment (located under the device), remove the old lamp by unscrewing the screws, insert the new lamp (ref. OPTOMA SP.93G01GC01) and screw back. Close the compartment and reconnect the device.

The projector turns off automatically: what to do?

Check the device temperature: ensure air intakes are not blocked and the air filter is clean. If the problem persists, the lamp may be at end of life or the temperature sensor is defective. Refer to the Troubleshooting section of the manual.

How to clean the air filter of the ZW506?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Locate the air filter on the side or rear. Remove it and dust it with a vacuum cleaner or with warm soapy water (dry it completely before reinstalling). Replace the filter after complete drying.

What is the native resolution of the OPTOMA ZW506 projector?

The native resolution is WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels), suitable for widescreen presentations.

Can I connect my laptop via HDMI?

Yes, the ZW506 has an HDMI 1.4 input (compatible with most laptops) as well as a VGA input and a USB-A port for file presentation.

How to adjust image size without moving the projector?

Use the zoom ring on the lens (1.6x optical zoom). Additionally, you can use automatic or manual keystone correction to straighten the image.

What is the lamp life and where to buy a replacement lamp?

The lamp lasts about 3000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in economy mode. Purchase a replacement lamp OPTOMA SP.93G01GC01 from authorized dealers or on the OPTOMA website.

The projector displays 'No signal': what to check?

Check that the source cable (HDMI, VGA) is properly connected. Ensure the source is turned on and that the selected input corresponds (press Source on the remote). Try another cable or source.

How to reset the lamp counter?

After replacing the lamp, go to the OSD menu: Configuration > Lamp reset. Confirm the reset to clear the replacement alert.

What image modes are available?

The projector offers several preset modes: Presentation, Cinema, Game, sRGB, Blackboard. You can also customize settings via the Image menu.
