IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following:

1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that you outlet voltage corresponds to the one stated the mixer rating label.
3. Do not operate the Hand/stand mixer with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunction, or if dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

4. Do not leave the mixer unattended while it is operating.

5. Do not let cord hang over an edge of a table or counter or hot surface.

6. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put mixer in water or any other liquid. This may cause a personal injury or damage to the product.

7. Avoid any contact with moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operating in order to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the mixer.

8. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is used near children or infirm persons.

9. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.

10. Never eject beaters or dough hooks when the appliance is in operation.

11. Unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

12. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.

13. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

14. Remove the beaters from mixer before washing.

15. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

16. The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

HAND/STAND MIXER USE

Clean the beaters before first use. Before assembling the mixer, make sure the power cord is unplugged from the wall outlet and the speed selector is in the “0” position.

1. Choose the proper attachments depending on the task and assemble them in proper position. Beaters are used for egg white or other liquid mixing.
2. Select the setting and then plug in the appliance into wall outlet.
3. Turn the speed selector to your desired setting and the appliance will start operating. There are 6 settings and the speed will achieve its highest any time the turbo button is pressed.

Warning: Do not place knives, metal spoons, forks and similar into the bowl while the appliance is operating.

1. The maximum operation time per one use shall not exceed 4 minutes, then rest leave the appliance rest for appropriate time until it cools between two consecutive cycles. When kneading yeast eggs, we suggest the speed selector should be first positioned at low speed and then increase the speed to achieve the best results.
2. When mixing is completed, turn the speed selector to 0 position and unplug the cord from wall outlet.
3. Lift the head of the mixer, hold the beaters/dough hooks with one hand, press the ejector button firmly down with your other hand and remove the beaters.

Note: Remove the beaters only when the appliance is at the 0 setting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it is completely cooled before cleaning it.
   CAUTION: The mixer cannot be immersed into water or other liquid.

2. Wipe the outside surface of the head with a damp cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.

3. Wipe any excess food particles from the power cord.

4. Wash the beaters and dough hooks in warm soapy water and wipe them with a dry cloth. The beaters and dough hooks may be washed in the dishwasher.

COOKERY TIPS

1. Refrigerated ingredients, i.e., butter and eggs should be at room temperature before mixing begins. Take these ingredients out ahead of time.
2. To eliminate the possibility of shells or deteriorated-off eggs in your recipe, break eggs into a separate container first, then add to be mixed.
3. Do not over-beat. Make sure you only mix/blend mixtures as recommended in your recipe. Stir dry ingredients only until just combined. Always use the low speed.
4. Climatic conditions. Seasonal temperature changes, temperature of ingredients and their texture variation from area to area all play a part in the required mixing time and the results achieved.
5. Always start mixing at slow speeds. Gradually increase to the recommended speed as stated in the recipe.

1. Beating eggs

Food: eggs

Operation: put 500g mixtures of egg whites and yolk into a bowl, choose a beater, and let the appliance work at the highest speed for three minute.

1. Blending flour

Food: flour, water

Using method: put 665g of flour and 924g water into the bowl, assemble a dough hook, and let the appliance operate at lower speed for 30 seconds and then at higher speed for 3 minute until the flour is well combined.

Remark: Volume of food mixture should not exceed the accessories' lengths, which means not to exceed 80% of the dough hook spiral part, or 80% of the beater length.
