How do I mount the sensor light?

You have two options: use the included screws and dowels for a permanent installation, or the double adhesive tape for a non-permanent mount. Ensure the surface is dry, smooth, and clean. If using adhesive tape, allow 24 hours for the bond to set.

What batteries does the light use and how many?

It uses 1.5V AAA batteries. The number depends on your model: Z31685B uses 6, Z31685C uses 8, and Z31685D uses 4. Batteries are included in the package.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No, the LEDs are non-replaceable. When they fail, the entire product must be replaced.

What is the detection range and light-on time?

The motion sensor detects movement up to approximately 3 meters. After activation, the light stays on for about 30 seconds before automatically turning off.

Is the light suitable for outdoor use?

No, it is designed only for indoor, dry environments. Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures.

How do I replace the batteries?

Open the battery compartment on the back, remove old batteries, insert new ones with correct polarity as shown in the compartment, then close it securely.

Check that the insulation strip is removed from the batteries, the batteries are correctly inserted (right polarity), and the compartment is closed. Ensure the environment is dark enough for the sensor to activate.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please do not use this product if you find that it is damaged in any way.

Do not subject the product to any extreme temperatures or severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in deformation of the product.
■ Never cover the product when it is in operation.
This product does not contain any parts that need to be maintained by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Never open one of the products' of electrical equipment or insert any objects into them.
- Keep the product away from humidity.
This product is only intended for use indoors.

■ The illuminants are not replaceable.
If the illuminants fail at end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.

Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries

■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
■ Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge

Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or dam-

aged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.
■ Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

■ Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
- Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
■ Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

- Mounting the product

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Note: You will need an electric drill to install the product.

Make sure you will not be drilling into electrical, gas or water lines inside the wall. Use a power drill to drill the holes into the brick wall. Always observe all safety instructions for the power drill in the manual for the power drill. Death or injury due to electric shock may otherwise result.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to the operating instructions for your electric drill.

CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage any cables in the wall.

☐ Please see figure A (with screws 5 and dowels 3) or B (with double adhesive tape 6) for mounting the product.

Note: The substrate should be dry, smooth and free of dust and grease.

Note: Allow the wall bracket 4 to build up its adhesive bond for at least 24 hours. Otherwise the adhesive action could be detrimentally affected.

Note: If the double adhesive tape 6 has been in place for a long time, sticky residue may remain on the surface when removed. If necessary, use an adhesive remover. Test a small area prior to cleaning the respective area. Follow the manufacturer instructions.

• Using the product

Note: Before first use remove the insulation strip.

☐ The product will automatically switch on when motion is detected in a dark environment.
☐ The product will automatically switch off when motion is no longer detected for a period of time.

- Replacing batteries

☐ Open the battery compartment 7 at the back of the product.
☐ Remove the old batteries and insert new batteries (see Fig. C). Check the polarity of the batteries. This is shown in the battery compartment 7.
☐ Close the battery compartment 7.

- Cleaning and care

☐ Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

- Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
