This light is suited for use in dry indoor spaces and must not be used outside. Alternating calming and reviving colours create an overall feeling of well-being. This product is not intended for commercial use.

This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

■ Exposure to certain strobe lights or lighting effects can cause epileptic seizures or unconsciousness in some people. If you experience symptoms of an epileptic seizure, seek immediate medical attention.

Do not look directly into the light source (light bulb, LED etc.).

- Do not use optical instruments to look at the light.

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

  • Verify the available mains voltage matches the required operating voltage of the product before use (see „Technical Data“).

- Do not use the product if you detect any kind of damage.

This product has delicate electronic components.
Radio transmitting equipment in the immediate vicinity may therefore cause interference. If you experience faults, remove such equipment from the vicinity of the light.
■ Never allow the product to come into contact with water or other liquids.
The LEDs are not replaceable.
The lamp's light source is not replaceable, the entire light needs to be replaced if the light source reaches the end of its service life.
■ Always unplug the mains plug from the socket before installation, removal or cleaning.
This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user.
■ Only operate the product with the built-in LED controller.
Please note that when the LED mood light is plugged in it still uses a small amount of power even if it is off. Unplug from the socket to switch the device off completely.
The external flexible cord on this light is not replaceable; if the cord is damaged the light must be disposed of.

Swallowing batteries can cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing batteries. Seek immediate medical attention.

Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

  • Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
    Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

- Start-up

Colour changing LED mood light

Place the LED mood light on a level and solid surface.
Connect the mains pl20 to a socket. Verify the available mains voltage matches the required operating voltage of the product before use (see „Technical Data”).

The LED mood light is now ready for use.

Remote Control (Fig. C)

Remove the insulating strip between the battery 16 and the battery compartment 13 on the remote control 2 before use.

Note: Please note, the remote control uses infrared light. The signal cannot be transmitted "around the corner" as radio waves do. Light-tight objects may not be located between the infrared diode 14 and the light.

Operation

Use the remote control 2 to select a light colour or different colour change programs (Fig. A):

- Selecting a light colour

Press one of the colour button 12 or the W button 7 to select a colour corresponding with the button colour.
Press the button 3 to gradually increase the brightness.
Press the button 4 to gradually dim the light.

- Selecting the colour change

⑧: brighter

⑨: dim

5 x R: selects the desired colour
5 x G: selects the desired colour
5 x B: selects the desired colour

1 x W: selects the desired colour

FLASH button: rapid colour change

STROBE button: slow colour change

FADE button: flowing colour change

SMOOTH button: slow, flowing colour change

- Switching off the light

If the LED mood light is switched off with the OFF button 5 on the remote control 2, the last colour or colour change selected will be used when switching the light on again with the ON button 6.
However, if the LED mood light is disconnected from the mains supply by unplugging it from the socket, the LED mood light will always light up white when switched on again.

● Changing the battery (Fig. C)

Change the battery 16 when the range of the remote control 2 noticeably declines or the LED mood light 1 no longer responds to the remote control.
☐ Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control 2.
Remove the battery 16.
☐ Insert the new battery 16.
Only use the type of battery specified in the chapter „Technical Data“ and note the polarity when inserting the battery. This is shown on the back of the remote control 2.
Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control 2.

● Cleaning and care (Fig. B)

□ Switch the LED mood light 1 off.
☐ Remove the mains plug 20 from the socket before you clean the light.
□ Clean the LED mood light and the remote control 2 with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Remove the glass ball 18 from the lamp base 19 by holding on to the lamp base 19 and

carefully turning the glass ball 18 counterclockwise.

Carefully lift the glass ball off the lamp base 19.
After cleaning, carefully install the glass bar onto the lamp base 19.
☐ Secure the glass ball 18 by holding on to the lamp base 19 and carefully turning the glass ball 18 clockwise.
Connect the mains pl20 to the socket.

Your light is now ready to use.

Per Directive 2006 / 66 / EC and its amendments, defective or used batteries must be recycled. Return batteries and / or the product to the provided recycling facilities. Never dispose of batteries in your household bin. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations.
