Frequently Asked Questions - FTKG 29 A1 FLORABEST

How to assemble the barbecue?
Follow the step-by-step assembly instructions in the manual. Ensure all bolts are tightened and the grill is stable before use.
What type of charcoal should I use?
Use lump charcoal or charcoal briquettes. Avoid using lighter fluid directly on burning charcoal; use a chimney starter for safety.
How to clean the grill after use?
After the grill has cooled, remove the ash tray and discard ashes. Clean the grill grate with a wire brush. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
How to adjust the air flow for temperature control?
Use the adjustable air vent at the bottom. Open the vent to increase airflow and heat, close it to reduce the temperature. This helps manage cooking heat.
Is it safe to use on a wooden deck?
Place the barbecue on a non-flammable surface. If using on a wooden deck, use a heat-resistant mat underneath to catch sparks and hot ash.
How to store the barbecue after use?
Once completely cool, store the barbecue in a dry place, preferably under a cover to protect from rain and moisture. Remove charcoal and ash before storing.
Can I use it in windy conditions?
Avoid using the barbecue in strong winds as it can cause uneven heat and increase fire risk. Position it in a sheltered area if possible.
How long does it take to heat up?
Typically, it takes 20-30 minutes for the charcoal to become ready for cooking. Wait until the coals are covered with white ash.
How to replace the grill grate?
Replacement grill grates are available from Florabest. To replace, remove the old grate by lifting it off, and place the new one securely on the supports.
Does it come with a cover?
No, the barbecue does not include a cover. We recommend purchasing a weather-resistant barbecue cover for extended longevity.
