Frequently Asked Questions - FLG 34 A1 FLORABEST

How do I light the charcoal barbecue?
First, fill the charcoal container with about 0.2 kg of charcoal. Apply a 10 mm ring of fire gel on the center of the fire gel tray. Turn the control dial to MAX to power on the fan. Then hold a burning match to the fire gel until it ignites. Insert the charcoal container and place the grate. The fan must be on before lighting to avoid smothering the flame.
Can I use the barbecue indoors?
No, this barbecue is for outdoor use only. Using it indoors can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Always place it on a stable, non-flammable surface away from flammable materials.
How do I replace the batteries?
Turn the barbecue upside down. Open the battery compartment cover on the underside. Insert 4 AA batteries with correct polarity (see diagram inside). Close the cover until it clicks. Remove batteries if not used for long periods.
Why won't the charcoal light?
Ensure the fan is on by turning the control dial to MAX. If the fan does not work, check battery polarity or replace batteries. Also make sure the fire gel ring is within the stamped circle on the tray.
How do I clean the barbecue?
Wait until the barbecue is completely cool. Remove the grate, charcoal container, and grease tray. Wash the grate and grease tray with warm water and dish detergent. Clean the charcoal container with a brush or dry cloth. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
What should I do if the barbecue gets too hot?
Reduce the fan speed by turning the control dial counterclockwise. This decreases airflow and lowers the temperature. If flames flare up, reduce air supply.
Can I use lighter fluid or petrol?
No, never use spirit or petrol. Only use firelighters complying with EN 1860-3. Fire gel is recommended for safe ignition.
Is the barbecue safe to use on a wooden table?
Do not place on textile surfaces. Ensure the surface is fireproof and stable. Maintain a 100 cm clearance from flammable materials. The housing stays cool but the grate and interior become very hot.
How do I store the barbecue?
After cleaning and cooling, store it in the included carrying bag. Remove batteries if storing for a long time. Keep in a dry, dust-free place.
What is the warranty period?
The product comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep the receipt as proof. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects, but not normal wear or misuse.
