●Preparing the remote control
Note: The button cell is already in the battery compartment. Remove the contract strips by opening the battery compartment as described below.
- Replacing the battery
CAUTION! Danger of explosion in the case of improper battery replacement. Only
replace with the same or equivalent battery type.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control by turning the battery compartment cover 4 anti-clockwise with the aid of a coin or a screwdriver, then removing the lid (open).
- Replace the button cell type CR 2032. Make sure you fit the battery with the correct polarity (+ = up).
- Place the battery compartment cover 4 back on and lock it in place by turning it in a clockwise direction (close).
- Press one of the ON / OFF buttons 2 or 3 to test whether the remote control works; if it does, the power indicator light will come on 1.
- Setting up the remote controlled socket (fig. B)
- Plug the wireless socket into an earthed mains socket. You now have 30 seconds to complete steps 2 and 3.
Note: Always plug in the wireless socket in the direction indicated on the product label to maintain the splash water protection (arrow ↑ must point up).
Protection against water spray is only guaranteed when a socket of the same protection rating (classification IPX4) is connected.
- Point the remote control at the remote-controlled socket at a distance of approx. 50 cm.
- Push the respective ON button of the Channel ON / OFF
button 2 (A, B, C or D) on the remote control. You can now remotely switch a connected device on or off. Once assigned the process will complete.
- Repeat step 1 - 3 with the other wireless socket.
Note: You can switch several remote-controlled sockets on and off at the same time using the ON/OFF button 2 of one channel. In addition, you can programme six remote controls one after the other and use them for individual receivers. This means you can switch one appliance on and off from up to six different places. In this case, synchronise every remote-controlled socket with the channel of the remote control.
Note: The coding of the remote control is maintained when you change the battery.
Note: If you disconnect the remote-controlled socket from the power supply, the codings will be permanently stored.
However, the remote control cannot be used for at least 30 seconds after the connection is renewed, as this can cause new encoding to take place.
Deleting a code:
☐ First repeat steps 1 - 2 to delete a code.
☐ Then push the desired OFF button of the Channel ON/OFF button 2 (A, B, C or D) you wish to delete on the remote control during the 30 second timeframe.
☐ You will then again have 30 seconds to delete more or store a new code.
Deleting all codes:
☐ To delete all codes, first repeat step 1 - 2.
☐ Then push the MASTER-OFF button 3 on the remote control within the 30 second timeframe. All previously stored codes will be deleted immediately after pushing the Master OFF button 3 and the process will complete.
☐Preventinterference: Ensure the various sockets are spaced approx. 50 cm apart.
