Frequently Asked Questions - 004667 Menuett

How do I replace the dust bag?
Ensure the vacuum is unplugged. Open the front panel, release the old dust bag from the holder, dispose of it, and insert a new bag. Close the front panel until it clicks. The cover will not close without a bag properly fitted.
How often should I clean the inlet filter?
Clean the inlet filter at least 2 times a year or when you notice reduced suction. Remove the filter, rinse with lukewarm water, and let it dry completely before reinserting. Do not use a washing machine or hair dryer.
What should I do if the vacuum cleaner sounds high-pitched?
A high-pitched sound indicates blocked airflow. Switch off the vacuum, unplug it, and check the suction hose, inlet, and filters for blockages. Clean as necessary before restarting.
Can I use the vacuum on wet surfaces?
No. This vacuum is designed for dry surfaces only. Using it on wet surfaces creates a risk of electric shock and damage.
How do I clean the microfilter for the outlet?
Open the outlet grille, remove the microfilter, and clean it. Ensure it is completely dry before replacing. Close the grille securely.
What is the maximum power cord extension?
The cord should not be extended past the red mark. A yellow mark indicates a suitable length. Do not pull the cord beyond the red mark to avoid damage.
Can I use the vacuum without a dust bag?
No. The vacuum must not be used without a dust bag. Operating without a bag can damage the motor and will prevent the front panel from closing.
Is it safe to vacuum sharp objects?
No. Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects like glass, nails, or coins as they can damage the dust bag, hose, or internal components.
How do I use the combined radiator/brush nozzle?
Position 1 is for hard-to-reach areas like behind radiators and corners. Position 2 is for furniture, vents, blinds, and curtains. Adjust the nozzle as needed.
What should I do if the power cord or plug is damaged?
Do not use the vacuum. Contact an authorized service centre to replace the cord or plug. Using a damaged cord poses a risk of electric shock.
