Frequently Asked Questions - 002-348 Menuett

How do I change the dust bag?
Open the bag compartment lid, remove the full bag by pulling the tab, and insert a new bag firmly. Ensure the bag is properly seated before closing the lid.
What should I do if the vacuum loses suction?
Check if the dust bag is full, the filter is clogged, or there is a blockage in the hose or brush head. Clean or replace as needed.
Can I use the vacuum for wet spills?
No, this model is designed for dry vacuuming only. Using it on liquids can damage the motor and pose an electrical hazard.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter every month or when suction decreases. Tap it gently to remove dust, or wash with mild soap and water if the manual permits. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
My vacuum overheats and shuts off. What's wrong?
Overheating is often caused by a blocked filter, full bag, or obstruction in the hose. Turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and let it cool for 30 minutes. Remove the blockage, then restart.
Can I use an extension cord?
Yes, but use a cord rated for at least 10A and keep it fully uncoiled. Avoid daisy-chaining multiple cords.
Where can I purchase replacement filters or bags?
Replacement parts are available from Menuett retailers or online. Check the manual for compatible part numbers.
How do I clean the brush roll?
Remove the brush roll cover and take out the brush. Use scissors to cut away tangled hair or threads, then wipe with a damp cloth. Ensure it's dry before reinstalling.
The power cord is damaged. Can I replace it?
Cord replacement should be done by a qualified technician. Contact Menuett customer service or an authorized repair center to avoid safety risks.
Can I use the vacuum on delicate rugs?
Yes, but reduce the suction power using the regulator or use the upholstery nozzle to avoid damaging fibers.
