Frequently Asked Questions - 800-218 Menuett

How do I empty the dust bin?
Press the release button on top of the dust bin, then pull the bin outwards. Hold over a trash can and press the bottom latch to empty. Ensure the bin is closed securely before reattaching.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the HEPA filter every 3-4 months or when the suction noticeably decreases. Rinse under lukewarm water and let it air dry completely for 24 hours before reuse.
What should I do if the vacuum loses suction?
Check if the dust bin is full, the filter is clogged, or there is a blockage in the hose/brush. Empty the bin, wash the filter, and inspect the hose for obstructions.
Can I use the vacuum to pick up liquids?
No, this vacuum cleaner is designed for dry pickup only. Using it for liquids can damage the motor and void the warranty.
How do I change or clean the accessory tools?
Accessories can be detached by pressing the release button on the handle or wand. Clean them with a damp cloth if needed. Small brush rolls can be removed with a screwdriver.
Why does the vacuum shut off during use?
This is likely due to overheating. The thermal protection activates. Turn off and unplug the vacuum, let it cool for 30 minutes, and check for blockages before restarting.
What type of filter does this model use?
It uses a washable HEPA filter. Replacement filter models are available (Menuett 800-218 filter set). Regular cleaning extends its life.
Is the power cord long enough for large rooms?
The cord is 6 meters long with an additional 2 meters of reach from the hose, giving an 8-meter operating radius. For larger spaces, you may need to use a extension cord.
How do I store the vacuum cleaner?
Wrap the cord around the cord clips on the back of the unit. Attach the hose to the designated storage slot. Keep the vacuum upright in a dry place.
Where can I buy spare parts or accessories?
Spare parts are available online at Jula or Menuett official websites, or through authorized retailers. Common parts include filters, hoses, and brush heads.
