Frequently Asked Questions - L20ORW14E Logik

How do I install the Logik L20ORW14E cooker?
Ensure the appliance is installed by a qualified electrician. It must be connected to a 230 V, 50 Hz supply with a suitable isolation switch. Place the cooker on a flat, stable surface, maintaining clearance of at least 5 cm from walls. Refer to the manual for detailed wiring diagrams.
How do I use the oven?
Turn the oven function selector to your desired setting (e.g., Bake, Grill). Set the temperature using the thermostat knob. The indicator light will turn on and off as the oven maintains temperature. Preheat for 10-15 minutes for best results. Use a timer if available.
How do I clean the hob?
Allow the hotplates to cool completely. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not immerse the hotplates in water. Ensure the hob is dry before use.
How do I clean the oven?
Remove oven shelves and side racks. Use a soft cloth with warm soapy water or a dedicated oven cleaner. Avoid abrasive scouring pads. The oven interior has an easy-clean enamel; wipe spills immediately after cooling. The oven door is removable for thorough cleaning.
What should I do if the oven doesn't heat?
First, check that the cooker is properly connected to power and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Ensure the timer is set to manual mode (if applicable). Verify the function selector and thermostat are set correctly. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
You can use aluminum foil, but do not cover the oven floor or the heating elements as it may cause overheating and damage. Use foil only on baking trays or to wrap food, ensuring it does not touch the oven walls or elements.
How do I activate the child lock?
The child lock feature prevents accidental activation of the hob. Typically, press and hold the lock button (if equipped) for 3 seconds until the indicator lights. To deactivate, repeat the process. Refer to the manual for exact instructions.
Why is the oven light not working?
The oven light bulb may need replacement. Switch off the power at the mains. Remove the light cover (usually by pulling it off or unscrewing). Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type (typically 25W, 300°C heat-resistant). Reattach the cover and restore power.
How do I replace a heating element?
Disconnect the cooker from power. Remove the oven back panel. Unscrew the faulty element from its bracket and disconnect the wires. Install the new element (same model) and reconnect wires securely. Reassemble and test. If unsure, hire a professional.
What is the energy consumption of this cooker?
The oven has an energy efficiency class B. Typical energy consumption for the oven is about 0.9 kWh per cycle (standard load). The hob's consumption varies with use. For detailed figures, refer to the product's energy label or manual.

  • Check that your radiator is plugged in and the power is turned on at the mains socket.
  • Set the temperature to the highest setting.
  • Check if the thermostat setting is too low.
    • Try replacing the fuse in the plug.
  • If the radiator still doesn't work, do not try to repair the radiator yourself.

If your radiator's power is automatically cut off follow the steps below:

  1. Unplug your radiator and allow it to cool down.
