How do I pair the GoGen TWS BUDDY evo 2 with my phone?

Ensure both earbuds are in the charging case. Open the case lid and press the button on the case until the LED flashes white. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select 'GoGen TWS BUDDY evo 2' from the list. If prompted, confirm pairing.

How do I reset the earbuds to factory settings?

Place both earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red and white. The earbuds will reset and enter pairing mode.

What is the battery life of the earbuds?

The earbuds provide up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 4 hours of music playback on a single charge. With the charging case, total battery life is up to 15 hours.

How do I charge the earbuds and the case?

Use the included USB-C cable to charge the case. The case charges in about 2 hours. When you place the earbuds in the case, they automatically start charging. The case LED indicates charging status.

Are the earbuds waterproof?

The earbuds have an IPX4 rating, meaning they are splash-proof and resistant to sweat and light rain. Do not submerge them in water.

How do I control music and calls?

Use touch controls on the earbuds: single tap to play/pause, double tap for next track, triple tap for previous track, long press for volume up/down (left/right). Tap to answer/end a call.

Can I use voice assistant with these earbuds?

Yes, triple-tap the right earbud to activate Siri or Google Assistant, depending on your device.

The earbuds are not connecting. What should I do?

First, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Place both earbuds in the case and close the lid for 10 seconds, then open and try pairing again. If the issue persists, reset the earbuds (see FAQ on resetting).

How do I know which ear tip size to use?

Try each of the three sizes (S, M, L). Choose the one that creates a comfortable seal without causing discomfort. A proper seal is important for sound quality and noise isolation.

What is the warranty period for the GoGen TWS BUDDY evo 2?

The headphones come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your receipt for warranty claims.

In order to have a proper and safe use of the headset, please read this user manual in detail and save it. Be aware of the following guidelines when using your headset:

WARNING

• You should adjust the volume carefully when using the headset to prevent hearing damage.
• Please stop using the headset in potentially hazardous situations to ensure your safety.
• Please avoid using the headset to listen to music, make or receive calls which may cause a distraction while driving.
• Put this product and its accessories somewhere out of the reach of children, to avoid a fatal danger caused by inappropriate use.
• You should keep water from entering the headset, which may cause damage to the sound quality or the headset.
• You should avoid turning the volume so high that you can't hear anything around you. If you feel a tinnitus or the volume is too high, please reduce the volume.
• Stop using the headset if you feel obvious discomfort, irritation or have other adverse reactions.
• The headset should not be stored or used at temperatures below -10^ or above 40^ which may shorten headset or battery life.

POWER ON & PAIRING

The headphones automatically turn on when removed from the charging case. During pairing, the white LED on one earpiece lights up, the other one flashes.

Note: The headphones need to be activated before first use. Take both headphones out of the charging case, put them back in, and close the lid. The headphones can then be removed from the case and paired with the mobile device.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION STEPS

1. Please keep your headset and mobile phone as close as you can, within 1 meter.
2. Turn on "Bluetooth" in setting on your phone or other devices, and then find and select GOGTWSBUDDY02.
3. Click on GOGTWSBUDDY02 and Bluetooth Headset gets connected with your phone or devices automatically. (Some may require pass code which is "0000" (4 zeros)).
4. After a successful pairing of the headphones, no diode lights up.

RESET

In case of failure pairing or unnormal working, you need to RESET the headphones as following:

Place the earphones in the charging case and press the touch surface on the left and right earphones 5 times. A successful restart is signaled by the white diode flashing 5 times on both headphones.

LOW-LATENCY MODE (game mode)	Long press L earphone. Activation of the mode is signaled by two beeps. Deactivation by three.
ANC MODE Long press R earphone to switch between ANC modes (see explanation below).

ANC MODE

The headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for undisturbed listening. The above procedure can be used to switch between the 3 modes of this function. A change of mode is signaled by a voice confirmation:

„ANC OFF“ - active noise cancellation function turned off

„ANC ON“ - active noise cancellation function on

„PASS THROUGH“ - (Transparency mode) the headphones filter the ambient noise, but leave the voices of the people around you audible

CHARGING

CHARGING OF HEADSET

Place the headphones in the charging case. The headset indicator light glows red when charging. After fully charged, it lights up white for 30 seconds.

CHARGING OF CHARGING BASE

Connect the USB cable to the charging case. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer or charger. The LED indicator on the case flashes white during charging. It glows solid white when fully charged.

WARNING:

• You must select a qualified charger from a regular manufacturer. (Charging Voltage: 5V Charging Current: 400mA for charging case)
• A fully charged headset will lose its power automatically if left unused. It is recommended to charge the headset each three months.
• Do not leave the headset in a too hot or too cold condition (best between -10^ and +40^ ) which may affect the headset's operations although it is fully.
• Please wear this Headset properly for best tone quality. Do not disassemble hardware. Please use soft and dry cottons for cleaning.
• Make sure the headset is fully charged before first use.
• This Headset is not waterproof. Do not use it while swimming or diving.
• If do not use this Headset for long time, please charge once a week to extend battery life.
• Keep your Headset and device as close as you can to avoid interference of signal path.

WARRANTY

The warranty does not apply to a decrease in the accumulator's effective capacity caused by its use or age. Effective capacity gradually decreases depending on the method of use of the accumulator.
