Frequently Asked Questions - M2005 HMS Premium

How do I adjust the resistance on the M2005 home trainer?
Turn the tension control knob located on the front post. Rotating clockwise increases resistance, counterclockwise decreases it. The resistance is magnetic and independent of pedaling speed.
What is the maximum user weight for this bike?
The maximum user weight is 120 kg (265 lbs). Do not exceed this limit to ensure safety and device longevity.
How do I install the batteries in the console?
Open the battery compartment on the back of the meter (console) and insert two AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity. The console will power on when you start pedaling or press the MODE button.
My heart rate reading seems inaccurate. What should I do?
Hand pulse sensors on the handlebars detect your heart rate. Ensure both hands are placed firmly on the metal sensors. Avoid excessive movement. The reading may take up to 5 seconds. Note that the system warns the heart rate monitoring may not be completely accurate; it is for reference only. If you feel unwell, stop exercising.
How do I move the home trainer?
The front stabilizer has transport wheels. Tilt the bike forward slightly so the wheels touch the ground, then roll it to the desired location. Ensure the surface is clean and flat.
What maintenance is required?
Regularly check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and screws. Inspect for wear, damage, or unusual noises. Worn parts (e.g., pedals, straps, grips) should be replaced immediately. Keep the device clean and dry.
Is the M2005 suitable for rehabilitation?
No, this device is not intended for therapeutic or rehabilitation use. It is certified as Class H (home use) according to EN ISO 20957-1. Consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
What tools are needed for assembly?
The package includes an Allen wrench and a universal wrench. Most assembly steps require these tools. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the manual.
Can I use this bike if I have a pacemaker?
Consult your physician first. The hand pulse sensors and magnetic resistance system may not interfere, but individual considerations apply. Always prioritize safety.
What does the SCAN function on the console do?
The SCAN function automatically cycles through Time, Speed, Distance, Calories, and Pulse every 4 seconds. Press the MODE button repeatedly until SCAN appears to activate it.
