Frequently Asked Questions - GZ-35A Guzzanti

How do I set the temperature on my Guzzanti GZ-35A cooler?
Press the ON/OFF button to power on. Then press the Settings button to select cooling or heating mode. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the current interior temperature.
Can I use the heating function to warm food?
Yes, the GZ-35A can heat from 30°C to 50°C. Press the Settings button to switch to heating mode. Do not place sealed cans or carbonated beverages inside during heating to avoid explosion.
What do error codes E1, E2, E3, etc. mean?
E1: Temperature sensor short circuit. E2: Sensor disconnected. E3: Low voltage input (<10.7V for 12V, <22.6V for 24V). E4: Over voltage (>15V/30V). E5: Compressor voltage protection. E6: Fan over current. E7: Compressor start error. E8: Minimum speed error. E9: Controller thermal protection. Refer to the manual for troubleshooting steps.
How should I clean and maintain the cooler?
Unplug the device before cleaning. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove stains. Clean the air inlet grille regularly to maintain cooling efficiency. The door seal can be cleaned with mild soapy water.
What type of power supply does the GZ-35A require?
It operates on DC 12V or 24V. An optional AC adapter is available for home use. The device includes a cigarette lighter plug for vehicle use.
Can I freeze food in this cooler?
The cooler can reach temperatures as low as -18°C, making it suitable for freezing. However, it is recommended for short-term freezing and as a pantry appliance. For long-term storage, set temperature to 10-20°C and use sealed bags.
Why does the cooler stop cooling after being tilted?
If the appliance is tilted more than 30° or turned upside down, the compressor may need time to recover. Stop the compressor and let it rest for 2 hours before restarting to avoid damage.
Is it safe to use the cooler in a car?
Yes, it is designed for vehicle use. Ensure proper ventilation (at least 15 cm clearance on sides) and secure it to prevent movement. Do not expose the device to rain.
How do I dispose of the cooler properly?
Do not throw it in household waste. Take it to an authorized recycling center. The refrigerant is flammable, so disposal must follow local regulations. The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates separate collection.
What is the memory function?
After setting the desired temperature, if no button is pressed for 5 seconds, the setting is saved. When the device is turned off and on again, it will resume the last saved mode and temperature.
