Frequently Asked Questions - A2 GPS Xblitz

What should I do if the device does not turn on or off?
Check if the cigarette lighter socket provides permanent power. If so, the device may not turn off automatically. Try using a switched power source.
Why does the device restart while driving?
This is often due to an unstable power source. Ensure the car charger is firmly connected and the socket provides consistent power. Try using the original charger.
How do I enable loop recording properly?
Make sure motion detection is disabled in the settings. When motion detection is on, it can interfere with loop recording. Set loop time to 1, 3, or 5 minutes.
What does 'card full' mean and how to fix it?
The memory card is full of protected files. Check the G-sensor and parking mode settings; set them to minimum or off to avoid unnecessary file protection. Also format the card to FAT32 on a computer and then in the camera.
The device is not responding. How to reset it?
Press the RESET button (located near the multi-pin connection) with a pin. If that fails, restore factory settings via the menu (Default settings).
Why are there horizontal stripes in the video?
This is caused by incorrect frequency setting. In the general settings, select 50 Hz for Europe or 60 Hz for the USA/other regions.
How does the GPS function work?
The built-in GPS module records the vehicle's speed and current coordinates. This information can be displayed on the video when playback is viewed with compatible software.
Can I install the rear camera outside the car?
Yes, the rear camera is splash-proof and can be mounted outside the vehicle. Ensure the cable is routed securely and the camera is not submerged in water.
How to properly format the memory card?
Before first use, format the micro SD card to FAT32 file system using a computer. Then insert it into the camera and use the 'Format' option in the general settings. Always turn off the camera before inserting or removing the card.
What should I do if parking mode doesn't work?
Parking mode requires the camera to be connected to a constant power source (e.g., direct battery connection). It detects impacts and records a short protected video, then turns off to save battery. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged or the camera is hardwired.

03. MAIN FEATURES OF THE CAMERA

  1. Operating modes. The camera has three modes of operation: recording mode (video recording), photo mode (taking photos), and playback mode (viewing footage recorded by the camera)
  2. Loop recording. The camera divides the recording files according to the selected time set by the user. When the memory card fills up the oldest recording will be overwritten.
  3. GPS. The built-in GPS module is responsible for displaying information about the vehicle's speed and its current coordinates in the camera recordings.
  4. G-Sensor. Otherwise known as an accelerometer. When the sensor is activated at the time of a shock (e.g. collision), the recording file is protected from being overwritten. It is recommended that the lowest available value is set, as at a higher value the camera may pick up shocks caused by unevenness of the road, which can cause the memory card to become full.
  5. Parking mode. When enabled, the camera catches a jolt from the car (for example during a parking bump), turns on, and starts recording a short video (recordings are automatically protected against overwriting). It is advisable to switch this function off for the duration of the drive, as it may block loop recording. Note: To ensure that the camera properly records a full-length recording, make sure the battery level is sufficient, or leave the camera under a constant power source.
  6. Rear view camera. The included rear view camera captures the image behind the car. Where it is installed depends on the user's preference. The camera is splash-proof and can be placed outside the vehicle.
  7. Motion detection mode. When enabled and the camera is running left under constant power when the lens detects movement, it will start recording video.

04. BEFORE USE

  1. The use of branded microSD cards is recommended.
  2. Before inserting the card into the recorder, it must be formatted to FAT32.
  3. The camera must be switched off when inserting the memory card,

otherwise the card and the device may be damaged. The same applies when removing the card from the device.

  1. When the memory card fills up, the oldest unprotected recordings are overwritten. to

  2. It is recommended to set the G - SENSOR option to the minimum to avoid securing unnecessary material and thus losing space on the memory card.

  4. The device shows the message "card full". Check the "G-sensor" and "parking mode" functions and set them to minimum. The card must be formatted in FAT32 format first on the computer and then on the recorder.

  5. The device is not responding. Briefly press the RESET button or restore the device to factory settings.

  6. There are transverse stripes in the video. Incorrect setting of the frame rate value. Set the frequency value to 50Hz or 60Hz depending on local settings.

10. NOTE

  1. Due to continuous product improvement, the manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the device and its kit without prior notice. Some functions described in this manual may differ slightly from reality.

  2. Use only the original charger. Do not connect directly to a 220/230V socket. Failure to do so may damage the camera or lead to dangerous situations.

  3. The Parking Mode function only works on direct battery power or battery power (if the device has one). When an impact is detected (depending on the sensitivity of the sensor set), the camera starts recording and switches off, which allows the device to remain in standby mode for as long as possible. Parking mode recordings may be of lower quality due to the lower frame rate characteristic of this mode. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any damage not recorded when using parking mode.
