SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read this instruction manual carefully. Keep this manual for future reference. Use the unit according to its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
- Before using the unit, closely examine the power cord and the power cord connector located on the unit body and make sure that they are not damaged. Do not use the unit if the power cord or power cord connector are damaged.
- Before switching the unit on make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.

The power cord is equipped with a “europlug”; plug it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.

Do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.
- Make sure that the power cord is properly inserted into the corresponding connector of the unit body and the socket.
- Use only the supplied power cord, do not use the power cord of other units.
- To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connecting the unit to the mains.
- Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface away from moisture and heat sources and open flame.
- Place the unit with free access to the mains socket.
- Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
- Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
- Do not place the unit close to walls and furniture.
- Provide that the power cord does not come in contact with hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges. Avoid damaging the isolation of the power cord.
- Do not touch the power cord and power plug with wet hands.
- Do not use the unit near containers filled with water, next to a kitchen sink, in wet basements or near a swimming pool.
- Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and power plug into water or other liquids.
- If the unit was dropped into water, unplug it immediately by taking the power plug out of the mains socket. Do not put your hands into water! Apply to the authorized service center for further use of the unit.
- Do not insert foreign objects into the openings of the unit or between its parts.
- Provide that edges of clothes or foreign objects do not get between the lid and the unit body.
- Use the supplied removable parts only. Do not leave the operating unit unattended, always switch the unit off and unplug it when you do not use it.
- Never pull the power cord when disconnecting the unit from the mains; take the power plug and carefully pull it out of the mains socket.
- Do not leave the unit lid open during operation, except when operating in the "Fondue" and "Roasting" programs.
- To avoid injury, do not bend over the steam release openings or over the bowl when the multicooker lid is open.
- Do not touch the surface of the lid during multicooker operation, open the lid after having pressed the lid opening button.
- To avoid getting burned by hot steam, be very careful when opening the multicooker lid.

- Keep the steam valve clean, clean it when it gets dirty.
- Never use the unit without the installed bowl and steam valve, do not switch the multicooker on without products and sufficient amount of liquid in the cooking bowl.
- Follow the recommendations as to amount of dry products and liquids.
- Attention! When steam cooking food, watch the level of liquid in the bowl, add water to the bowl as needed. Do not leave the unit unattended!
- Do not use the multicooker if the silicone gasket on the inner side of the lid is damaged.
- Do not remove the bowl during operation.
- Do not cover the multicooker during operation.
- Do not carry the unit during operation. Use the lid handle, having unplugged the unit, removed the bowl with food and let the unit cool down preliminarily.
- The lid, the food cooking bowl and body parts heat up heavily during operation, do not touch them. Take the hot bowl out after putting on thermal protective potholders.
- Clean the unit regularly.
- Do not use the unit outdoors.
- Do not allow children to touch the unit body and the power cord during the unit operation.
- This unit is not intended for usage by children under 8 years of age.
- This unit is not intended for usage by people (including children over 8) with physical, neural, mental deviations or with insufficient experience or knowledge. Such persons may use this unit only if they are under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety and if they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions concerning the safe usage of the unit and information about danger that can be caused by its improper usage.
- Do not leave children unattended not to let them use the unit as a toy.
- For children safety reasons, do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
- To avoid damages, transport the unit in original package only.
- Never use the unit if the power cord or the plug is damaged, the unit works improperly or after it was dropped. Do not try to repair the unit by yourself. Contact an authorized service center for all repair issues.
- Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
- Use the unit and its parts for the intended purposes only. Do not use the cooking bowl by installing it on other heating units or surfaces.
- Do not replace the bowl with another container.
- Always make sure that the heating element (10) surface and the bottom of the bowl are clean and dry.
- Do not use the bowl for mixing products. Never chop products in the bowl to avoid damage of the non-stick coating.
- Never leave or keep any foreign objects in the bowl.
- When cooking food in the bowl, stir it only with the plastic soup ladle (18) or spatula (19).
- Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl.
• After cooking dishes with spices and seasonings, wash the bowl right after cooking. - To avoid damage of the coating, do not put the bowl into cold water right after cooking; let it cool down preliminarily.
The bowl is not intended for washing in the dishwashing machine.

Pressing of the control panel buttons is accompanied by a sound signal.

To go to the auto-programs menu, touch the
«MENU» button (13).
Buttons (14) “-/+”
Using the buttons “-/+” (14), choose the cooking program, adjust the cooking time and delayed start function.
«DELAYED START» button (15)
You can set the time after which the selected cooking program will start operating. Unit operation time may be set in the range from 1 to 24 hours with 1 hour step.
Button (16)
Use the button (16) for the transitions between the setting stages, settings saving, as well as to start and stop cooking programs.
Attention!
Do not leave the operating unit unattended.

- Watch the cooking process, switch the unit off when the food is ready. Do not leave the unit unattended.
- Do not open the lid (4) during unit operation in the «BAKING» program.
- To avoid scorching of the food after finishing of the «BAKING» program operation, switch the keep warm mode off by pressing and holding the button (16)
- In the «ROASTING» program the unit operates similarly to a kitchen stove, be sure to watch the cooking process.
- The “Sauce” program is intended for cooking sauces, the “Cabbage rolls” program is for cooking cabbage rolls, the “Baby food” program is for cooking baby food (see “Recipe book”).
- See recipes of dishes in the Recipe book (supplied with the unit). All recipes are non-regu-
latory as the required amount and proportions of the ingredients may vary depending on local peculiarities of the food and altitude above sea level.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature, it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.
- Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials that can prevent multicooker operation.
- Place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from all kitchen heat sources (such as gas cooker, electric cooker or cooking unit).
- Place the unit while keeping at least 20 cm gap between the multicooker body and the wall and 30-40 cm gap above the unit.

- Do not place the multicooker close to the objects that can be damaged by the released steam of high temperature.
Attention! Do not place the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with water.
- Open the lid (4) by pressing the button (5) and pulling the handle (6).
- Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge with neutral detergent: bowl (12), steam cooking basket (17), soup ladle (18), spatula (19), measuring cup (20) and cups with lids (21). Then rinse them under running water and dry.
- Clean the unit body with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
USE OF THE MULTICOOKER
Put the food into the bowl (12) following the recommendations given in the recipe (see "Recipe book").
Note: Make sure that the ingredients and liquids level does not exceed the maximal mark «1.8» and is not lower than the minimal mark «0.6». Maximal level mark for porridges (except rice) is «1.4»
General example of loading products and water (rice is considered as example)
Measure rice with the measuring cup (20) (one measuring cup is equal to approximately 160 grams of rice), wash it and place in the casserole. The level of water needed for a certain amount of rice (measured in the cups «CUP») is indicated on the scale inside the bowl (12). Pour water in up to the corresponding mark.
Example: Put four measuring cups of rice, pour water up to the (cup) graduating mark «4 CUP». For liquid porridges it is recommended to use rice and water in the proportion 1:3.
Install the bowl (12) in the process chamber. Make sure that the outer surface of the bowl is clean and dry, and the bowl itself is installed evenly and is in secure contact with heating element (10) surface.
Notes:
- do not use the bowl (12) for washing cereals and do not chop products in it, this can damage the non-stick coating.
- make sure that there are no foreign objects, dirt or moisture in the process chamber and on the bottom of the bowl (12).
- wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the bowl (12) dry before use.
- in the middle of the heating element (10) there is a temperature sensor (11). Make sure
that the movement of the sensor is not limited.
- If you steam products, pour water into the bowl (12) so that boiling water doesn't reach the bottom of the basket (17). Put the food into the basket (17) and install it in the bowl (12).
- Close the lid (4) until click.
- Insert the power cord jack into the connector (9) and the power cord plug into the socket. You will hear a sound signal, the «----» symbols will light up on the display (3).
- Switch the unit on by touching the button (16) ↓, the display will show the symbols "88:88".
- Touch the button (13) "MENU" to go to the menu of auto-programs, the display (3) will show the flashing "Rice" indicator.
- Select the cooking program by touching the buttons (14) «-/+». The indicator of the selected program will be flashing and the display (3) will show the cooking time set by default.
- Touch the button (16), the cooking time indications will be flashing.
- Use the buttons (14) «-/+» to set the cooking time.
Note: Setting of the cooking time is not available for the program "Rice." Skip steps 9, 10.
To go to the delayed start setting, touch the button (15) "DELAYED START", the indicator will appear on the display.
Use the buttons (14) “+/-” to set the time after which the cooking will finish.
Note:
If you want to start cooking immediately, skip steps 11 and 12.
Delayed start function is not available for the programs "Jam", "Roasting", "Jelly", "Cottage cheese", "Baking", "Baby food", "Sauce", "Fondue" and "Yogurt".
To save the settings and switch the cooking program on, touch the button (16) the display will show the remaining time indication (for all programs except the "Rice"). If you have activated the delayed start function, the display will also show the symbol and the countdown time remaining till the start of the cooking program, when the unit switches to the cooking of food, the symbol will go out.
To switch the cooking off, press the button (16) and hold it for 3 seconds.
Sound signals will notify on finishing of cooking, the unit will be automatically switched to the keep warm mode, the display (3) will show the symbol as well as the multicooker operation time in the heating mode (up to 24 hours).
Note: The keep warm function is not available

for the programs "Reheat", "Jam", "Jelly", "Roasting", "Cottage cheese", "Canning" and "Yogurt".
To cancel the keep warm mode, press and hold the button (16)
Note:
- Despite the unit keeps the ready dish warm for 24 hours, it is not recommended to leave the cooked food in the bowl for a long time, because this may spoil the food.
- Do not use the keep warm function to reheat products.
Attention!
• Never leave the operating unit unattended.
- To avoid burns be very careful when opening the lid (4), do not bend over the steam valve (7) during multicooker operation and do not place open parts of your body above the bowl (12)!
- During the first operation of the multicooker some foreign smell from the heating element can appear. It is normal.
- Watch the food during cooking and, if necessary, stir the products with the plastic soup ladle (18) or spatula (19). Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl (12).
- Do not leave the lid of the unit during operation open except the “Fondue” and “Roasting” programs.
- You may use holder on the unit body to keep the soup ladle (18) and spatula (19).
"YOGURT" PROGRAM
- Pour leaven and milk into the cups (21) in the proportion 1:10.
Note: Use natural yogurt with minimum shelf-life, free of additives and coloring agents as a leaven. You can make leaven by yourself from special bacteria leaven (you can find it in a drugstore or in health food stores) following the instructions attached.
• Install the filled cups (21) without the lids into the bowl (12).
- Install the bowl (12) into the process chamber, select the "Yogurt" program and set the cooking time (see "Use of the multicooker").
- Attention! Do not move the multicooker during operation in the "Yogurt" program.
- Cover cups containing ready yogurt with lids and place them into the fridge for several hours to stop bacteria growth.
- You can add fruits, jam and honey to the ready natural yogurt.
"FONDUE" PROGRAM
The unit is intended to cook the cheese fondue and fondue with broth or vegetable oil. This program allows to select the heating temperature ranging from 70^ C to 150^ C. The recommended temperature for cheese fondue is from 70^ C to 80^ C.
- You can preliminarily marinade meat, shrimps or fish. Cut the products into small pieces of equal size.
- Do not use frozen products for making fondue.
- Pick the shrimps, pieces of meat, fish or vegetables with the special metal forks for fondue or skewers.
- Products, strung on the forks, dip in the heated broth/oil/cheese.
«MULTICOOK» PROGRAM
The “Multicook” program allows you to change the temperature and cooking time within the range from 30^ C to 150^ C in accordance with your needs and preferences.
Use of the unit in the "Fondue" and "Multicook" programs
- Open the lid (4).
• Install the bowl (12) in the process chamber. - Put the food into the bowl (12) (see "Recipe book"). The volume of products must not be above the maximum mark and below the minimum mark.
- If you are cooking in the "Multicook" program, close the lid (4) tightly. If you are making fondue, leave the lid (4) open.
- Switch the unit on by touching the button (16)
- Touch the «MENU» button (13).
- By touching the buttons «-/+» (14), select the «Fondue» or «Multicook» cooking program.
- Touch the (16) button↓ the display will show the flashing temperature indication “100°C”. By touching the buttons (14) “-/+”, set the temperature of heating.
- Touch the (16) button ↓ the display will show the indications of the operation time.
- Use the buttons «-/+» (14) to set the operation time.
- Touch the button (16) to launch the program.
- If you are making fondue, wait until the cheese is melted and soup/oil heats up.
Note:
If you are making fondue, regularly stir the mixture of cheese and wine. Avoid vigorous boiling of liquids. If necessary, decrease the tempera-

ture. To do this, switch the cooking program off and re-set the unit.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
- As the drip container (8) is filled up, remove the container and pour the accumulated liquid out of it.
- Remove the steam valve (7). Unscrew the lid of the steam valve by turning it in the direction of the «LOOSEN» arrow. Rinse the steam valve and install the lid back to its place, then secure it by turning in the direction of the «TIGHTEN» arrow. Install the steam valve (7) back to its place.
- Clean the unit body (1) and lid (4) with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe them dry.
- Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge and neutral detergent, then rinse under running water.
- Do not install the bowl (12) in the dishwashing machine.
- Wipe the surface of the heating element (only when it is cold) with a soft dry cloth, do not allow water to get inside the unit body.
- Do not immerse the unit body, power cord and plug into water or any other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive and aggressive detergents for washing of the unit and accessories.

A production date of the item is indicated in the serial number on the technical data plate. A serial number is an eleven-unit number, with the first four figures indicating the production date. For example, serial number 0606xxxxxx means that the item was manufactured in June (the sixth month) 2006.
