SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the electric unit, read this instruction carefully and keep it for further reference. Use the unit according to its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
- Before connecting the unit to the mains for the first battery charging, make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to adapter operating voltage.
- Use only the attachments and the adapter supplied with the unit.
- Do not use the unit in places with high temperature and relative humidity more than 80%.
- Charge the battery at the temperature from +5°C to +35°C.
- Never use the unit if the attachments or the blades are damaged.
• Always keep the trimmer blades clean and lubricated.
• After each using clean the attachments with the brush supplied to remove the cut-off hair.
- Never leave the operating unit unattended. Hair clipper must be switched off during breaks in operation or when you are not using it.
• The adapter cord should not:
- touch hot objects and surfaces,
- be immersed into water,
- run over sharp edges,
— be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
- The outer shaving net of the shaving attachment is very thin, to avoid damaging the shaving net do not apply excessive effort while shaving or cleaning.
- To avoid injuries do not use the shaver with damaged outer shaving net or inner cutting block.
- Be careful when using the trimmer for cutting hair in the ears and nose. Insert only the metal tip of the trimmer attachment into the auricle or the nostril.
• Do not allow children to use the units as a toy. - This unit is not intended for usage by children or disabled persons unless they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions by a person who is responsible for their safety on safety measures and information about danger that can be caused by improper usage of the unit.
- For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
- Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
- Never use the unit if the adapter is damaged, if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped. Contact an authorized service center for all repair issues.
- Keep the unit out of reach of children.
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.
Battery charging
The fully-charged battery provides about 45 minutes of continuous unit operation.
- Insert the connector of adapter (10) into the slot (5) on the hair clipper body (2), insert the adapter into the mains socket, the charging indicator (4) will light up red.
— Before the first use charge the battery during 3-4 hours. The following charging cycles will take about 1,5 hour. - The green color of the indicator (4) shows that the battery is fully charged. After charging the unit, unplug the adapter (10) and remove the connector of the adapter cord from the slot (5).
Notes:
- Recharge the battery only after its complete discharge.
- Charge the battery at the temperature from +5^ to +35^ .
- Never leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.
- After a long period of non-use (more than 2 months), charge the battery completely (during 3-4 hours) before using the hair clipper.
Attachments
— Keep the attachments on the base (6).
Before installing and changing the attachment switch the unit off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0»; if the unit is powered by the adapter, unplug it.
ENGLISH
- Pressing and holding the attachments release button (1), remove the attachment from the unit body (2).
- To install the required attachment insert the lock on the bottom part of the attachment into the groove on the rear side of the unit body (2), then, holding the release button (1), insert the attachment till bumping and release the button (1).
Setting the attachments
- Telescopic attachment for 40 mm trimmer
Install the telescopic attachment (12) on the trimmer (11), the lower lock of the attachment (12) should be fixed on the trimmer (11). You can adjust the cutting length by moving the attachment against the trimmer (11) within 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 mm.
- Telescopic attachment for 30 mm trimmer
Install the telescopic attachment (14) on the trimmer (13) on the blades side and push it downwards till bumping. You can adjust the cutting length by moving the attachment against the trimmer (13) within 3, 5, 7, 9 mm. Remove the attachment (14) by moving it up against the trimmer (13).
- Attachment comb for the face and body trim-mer
Insert the attachment (20) into the grooves of the trimmer (19); you can adjust the cutting length (3, 6, 9 mm) by installing the attachment (20) into one of the three grooves of the trimmer (19).
Lubricating oil
- To maintain the hair clipper in a good condition, you should lubricate the trimmer blades (11, 13, 15, 19) after every use of the hair clipper.
— For lubricating the blades use only the lubricating oil (9), supplied with the unit. - The trimmer for cutting hair in the ears and nose (19) does not need lubricating.
Operating the hair clipper
• For cordless use of the unit, charge the battery fully.
• Install the required attachment.
Note: For corded use of the unit, insert the connector of the adapter (10) into the slot (5) on the unit body (2) and connect the adapter (10) to the mains.
- Switch the unit on by setting the switch (3) to the position «I», the indicator (4) will light up red.
- After finishing the unit operation switch it off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0».
Note:
- Always switch the hair clipper off during breaks in operation.
- While corded unit operation switch the hair clipper off and unplug the adapter before changing the attachments.
Haircutting
Use the trimmers (11, 13) with corresponding telescopic attachments (12, 14) for hair cutting.
You can use the detail trimmer (15) for creative haircuts on short hair.
• Hair should be clean while cutting.
• You can also cut wet hair.
• Install the required trimmer (11, 13 or 15).
- Before cutting hair switch the hair clipper on, by setting the switch (3) to the position «|» and make sure that hair clipper operates normally and the blades move smoothly. If there is excess oil on the blades, remove it with a dry cloth.
- Switch the unit off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0», then install the corresponding telescopic attachment (12 or 14) on the trimmer (11 or 13).
- Seat the person so that his/her head is approximately at your eye level, cover the person's shoulders with a towel and set hair with the comb (8).
- Switch the unit on, setting the switch (3) to the position «|».
Reminder
- Always cut off a little amount of hair at a time; if necessary you can always return to the cut area again for additional cutting.
— The best haircutting results are achieved on dry hair, not wet. - Set the hair with the comb (8) to reveal uneven locks.
— It is better to leave longer hair after cutting for the first time. - After learning the unit better, you will be able to arrange your hair in any style you need.
Step one
Install the telescopic attachment (12 or 14) to the position 3 or 6. Switch the unit on using the power switch (3), setting it to position «|». Hold the unit with the blades pointed upwards. Start the haircutting from the beginning of the hair growth. Slowly move the clipper upwards. This way cut the head back area at neck bottom and near the ears.
Step two
Switch the hair clipper off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0»; depending on the used telescopic attachment (12 or 14) set it to the position 9 or 11, switch the hair clipper on and continue cutting hair near the top of the head.
Step 3 - cutting temples
Switch the hair clipper off; depending on the used telescopic attachment (12 or 14) set it to the position 3 or 6 and cut hair on the temples. Then, depending on the used telescopic attachment (12 or 14), set it to the position 9 or 11 and continue cutting hair towards the top of the head.
Step 4 – cutting the top of the head
Using the telescopic attachment in the position 9 or 11 (attachment 14), cut the hair from the top of the head towards the crown against the hair growth direction.
- You can cut hair both against and along the hair growth direction, but keep in mind that hair cut against the growth direction will be shorter than the hair cut along it.
- Set the telescopic attachments (12 or 14) to the position 3 and 6 for very short haircut. To leave longer hair, use the positions 7, 9 or 11 of the telescopic attachments (12 or 14).
• To leave longer hair, take hair locks between your fingers and cut hair using the hair clipper. - You can use the comb (8): lift the hair locks and cut them with the hair clipper above the comb.
• Always start cutting from the head back. - Set the hair with the comb (8) to reveal uneven locks.
• Use the scissors to trim hair.
Step 5 - the final part
In the final stage of hair cutting remove the telescopic attachment from the unit, turn the blades of the hair clipper towards the hair and trim hair on the temples and neck carefully. Do not press on the hair clipper strongly, there is danger of injuries or cuts when open blades come in contact with skin.
Cone-shaped haircut
Set the necessary telescopic attachment and start cutting from the head back towards the crown. Cut hair against hair growth from the head front to the crown and on the head sides. To get a flat top haircut, use the comb (8): lift the locks and cut them along the comb. Set the hair with the comb (8) to reveal uneven locks.
Shaving
The best shaving results are achieved if your skin is dry. Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get used to this shaving system.
• Install the shaving attachment (17).
- Switch the shaver on, setting the switch (3) to the position «I».
- Touching the skin slightly, move the shaver back and forth and rotationally at a time.
- After shaving switch the hair clipper off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0».
• Clean the shaving attachment (17).
Cutting beard and mustache
Use the trimmers (11, 13) with telescopic attachments (12, 14) for beard styling; you can also use the detail trimmer (15).
— Install the trimmer (11 or 13) on the hair clipper and install the corresponding telescopic attachment (12 or 14) on the trimmer.
- Until you learn your hair clipper better, set the attachment combs to the position «9» or «11», depending on the attachment; then you can reduce the haircut length gradually by adjusting the attachment combs.
— To cut the beard symmetrically start cutting from the ear to the chin on the one side of the face, and then repeat the beard cutting on the other side.
— When cutting mustache, first comb them and start cutting from the middle to the corners of the lips.
Note: Always cut off a little amount of hair at a time; if necessary you can always return to the cut area again for additional cutting.
— In the final stage of beard cutting remove the telescopic attachment from the unit, turn the blades of the unit towards yourself and, slightly pressing the hair clipper, define the desired contour of the beard.
- Do not press the hair clipper strongly, there is danger of injuries or cuts when open blades come in contact with skin.
- When cutting hair on the cheeks, move the trimmer downwards; move the trimmer upwards on the neck.
— After you have cut the beard and mustache, maintain their shape.
Trimmer for cutting hair in the ears and nose.
Be careful when using the trimmer for cutting hair in the ears and nose (16). Insert only the metal tip of the trimmer attachment into the auricle or the nostril.
— Install the trimmer attachment (16) on the hair clipper and check if it is set securely.
- Switch the unit on, setting the switch (3) to the position «|».
- Move the metal tip of the trimmer smoothly back and forth and rotationally at a time; carefully cut hair in the nose and/or ears.
— After you finish using the unit, switch the unit off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0».
— Use the trimmer (16) only for cutting hair in the ears and nose.
Face and body trimmer
Use the attachment (19) for shaving narrow places around the beard/mustache/sideburns, this attachment is not intended for shaving all the face.
Using the attachment comb (20) you can safely remove hair on the face and body; besides, you can define the cutting length, for instance, when shaving brows, by setting the attachment comb (20) into the certain grooves of the trimmer (19).
— Set the attachment (19) on the hair clipper body (2).
- Set the attachment comb (20) into the required groove of the trimmer (19).
- Switch the hair clipper on, by setting the switch (3) to the position «I».
- Slightly press the attachment comb (20) to the skin and slowly move the attachment comb (20) along the hair growth direction.
- Attachment comb (20) movements should be slow and controlled.
- If hair is collected in the attachment comb (20), switch the unit off, remove the attachment comb (20) and clean it from the cut hair.
- After finishing the operation, switch the hair clipper off by setting the switch (3) to the position «0».
CLEANING AND CARE
— Switch the hair clipper off after the use.
- Remove all the used attachments from the hair clipper and clean them from hair from the inside and outside, using the cleaning brush (7).
ENGLISH
— You can wash the attachments and the hair clipper body under a water jet, after that wipe them and dry.
- Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the unit body and attachments.
Lubricating the trimmer blades (11, 13, 15, 19)
Regularly lubricate the blades using the oil (9) supplied with the unit.
- Apply one or two drops of lubricating oil (9) on the teeth of the trimmer blades and the back part of the upper blade.
— Install one of the trimmers on the hair clipper body and switch the hair clipper on, make sure that the blades are moving smoothly.
— Switch the unit off. Clean the excess oil with a dry cloth.
Note: The trimmer for cutting hair in the ears and nose (16) does not need lubricating.
Attention! Use only the oil supplied with the unit.
DO NOT use vegetable oil, fat, mixture of oil and solvents for lubrication.
Solvents will evaporate, leaving thick grease that may slow down the blades motion.
Shaving attachment (17) care
Regular cleaning helps to maintain the shaving system in good condition and save its working ability
- Press the buttons (18) simultaneously and remove the outer shaving block.
- Use the brush (7) to clean the outer shaving block from inside and outside (fig. 10) and to clean the inner cutting block (fig. 11).
• Install the outer shaving block back to its place.
STORAGE
— Clean the unit and lubricate the blades of the trimmers (11, 13, 15, 19) with lubricating oil (9) before taking the unit away for storage.
— Keep the unit away from children in a dry cool place.
