Frequently Asked Questions - AP1 Compact Pearl ECG

How do I connect the air purifier to Wi-Fi using the Smart Life app?
First, ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Download the Smart Life app and create an account. Plug in the purifier, turn it on, then press and hold the airflow speed button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon flashes. In the app, tap '+' and select 'Air Purifier (WiFi)'. Follow the app instructions, choosing either EZ or AP mode. For EZ mode, confirm the icon flashes quickly; for AP mode, connect your phone to the 'SmartLife' hotspot when prompted.
How do I replace the HEPA filter?
Turn off and unplug the purifier. Remove the bottom filter cover by turning it counterclockwise. Take out the old filter and remove the plastic bag from the new filter. Insert the new filter, then replace the cover by turning it clockwise until it locks. Finally, press and hold the filter reset button (on the control panel) for about 3 seconds to reset the filter life counter.
What do the air quality indicator colors mean?
The color of the backlight indicates the current air quality: Blue = Excellent, Green = Good, Purple = Bad, Red = Very bad. The sensor automatically adjusts fan speed in Auto mode.
How do I use the aroma function?
Locate the aroma sponges inside the filter cover. Add a few drops of essential oil to the sponges. When the purifier is operating, it will release the scent into the purified air. Replace sponges as needed.
Can I use the purifier in a kitchen?
It is not recommended. The presence of grease particles can reduce filter life and affect performance. The purifier should not be used as a ventilation or exhaust device.
What should I do if the purifier makes unusual noise?
First, check if the air inlet or outlet is blocked, or if the filter packaging has not been removed. Ensure the purifier is on a stable, level surface. If the noise persists, there may be loose objects inside or a motor issue. Unplug the unit and contact a service center.
How do I reset the filter life counter?
After replacing the filter, press and hold the filter reset button (identified by the filter icon on the control panel) for about 3 seconds. You will hear a beep, and the filter indicator light will stop flashing and remain white.
What is the maximum room size the purifier can handle?
The recommended room size is 9 to 14 square meters. For larger rooms, the purification may be less effective. The CADR rating is 120 m³/h.
Can I control the purifier remotely?
Yes, if you have successfully configured Wi-Fi, you can control the purifier using the Smart Life app on your smartphone over Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, or 4G networks. Remote control is possible even when you are away from home.
How do I clean the purifier?
Switch off and unplug the appliance. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water. The filter should be replaced, not washed. Store in a cool, dry place.
