How do I set up the Yealink MVC800 for the first time?

Connect all components as shown in the connection diagram: camera (UVC80) connects to mini-PC via Ethernet cable; MSpeaker connects to camera via 3.5mm cable; MTouch and MShare connect to mini-PC via USB. A USB mouse is required for initial configuration. For detailed steps, refer to the Quick Start Guide.

Can I use wireless content sharing with the MVC800?

Yes, you can use the optional Yealink WPP20 wireless presentation pod. Connect it to the MShare's USB port; once paired (LED solid green), plug WPP20 into your PC to share content wirelessly.

How does auto-framing work and how do I enable it?

Auto-framing automatically adjusts the camera zoom and position to keep participants centered. To enable, go to More > (Camera Control) and tap Enable Auto-framing. Note: when enabled, manual camera control is disabled.

What are the microphone options for the MVC800?

The MVC800 supports up to 2 Yealink VCM34 wired microphones (connected via Ethernet to the switch) or the CPW90 wireless microphone. The MSpeaker soundbar also includes built-in microphones.

How do I update the system software?

Software updates are typically automatic via Windows Update. To enable automatic updates, go to More > Settings > Windows Settings > Admin Sign-in, then Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and enable automatic downloads. Manual updates are also possible via Device Manager.

What should I do if the camera is not responding?

First, check cable connections. Ensure the camera power adapter (48V/0.7A) is plugged in. Clean the Ethernet port with a dry cloth. If the issue persists, try a different port or contact authorized service.

Can I mount the camera on a wall or ceiling?

Yes, the UVC80 camera comes with a VESA mounting bracket and accessories. Refer to the camera's Quick Start Guide for installation instructions.

What is the maximum number of participants for the MVC800?

The MVC800 is designed for medium to large meeting rooms. It supports up to 20 participants in a typical setup, depending on camera field of view and room layout.

Does the MVC800 support third-party microphones?

Yealink recommends using only provided or approved accessories. Unapproved third-party microphones may cause poor performance or compatibility issues.

How do I control the camera position manually?

Tap More > (Camera Control) to enter the control page. Use the zoom buttons (+/-) and pan/tilt arrows to adjust the camera. Tap Reset to return to the home position.

MVC900 & MVC800 & MVC500 & MVC300 Connection

MVC900 Connection

Do not connect the switch to the Internet, otherwise it will cause network abnormalities.

The switch and Ethernet cables should be purchased separately.

When starting up the system for the first time, you need a USB hub to connect a mouse to complete the initial configuration.

We recommend using the wireless mouse and keyboard kit.

For more information about the installation and deployment of accessories (for example, the installation of mini-PC package or the camera-hub), refer to the Quick Start Guide of corresponding accessory.

MVC800 & MVC500 Connection

The connection of MVC500 is almost the same as that of MVC800.

The following is an example of connecting MVC800.

You can use VCM34 or CPW90 as microphone.

When starting up the system for the first time, you need to connect a mouse to complete the initial configuration. We recommend using the wireless mouse and keyboard kit.

For more information about the installation and deployment of accessories (for example, the installation of mini-PC package or the UVC80 camera), refer to the Quick Start Guide of corresponding accessory.

MVC300 Connection

When starting up the system for the first time, you need a USB hub to connect a mouse to complete the initial configuration.
We recommend using the wireless mouse and keyboard kit.
For more information about the installation and deployment of accessories (for example, the installation of the mini-PC package or the UVC30 Room camera), refer to the Quick Start Guide of corresponding accessory.

Wireless Sharing

You can use Yealink WPP20 wireless presentation pod for wireless content sharing. WPP20 needs to be purchased separately.

Make sure the MShare is connected to the mini-PC.

Procedure

1. Connect the WPP20 to the USB port of the MShare.
2. Wait for about 3 seconds, the WPP20 LED indicator glows solid green.
   The WPP20 is paired with the MShare successfully.
3. Connect the WPP20 to the PC.

Upgrading System Software through Windows Update

The system software(including the Windows, the Camera-Hub/UVC80/UVC50/UVC30 Room, the MTouch and the MShare) can be automatically upgraded via windows update by default. Otherwise, you can enable automatically windows update or upgrade the devices manually.

Enabling Automatically Windows Update Procedure

1. On the display screen, navigate to More->Settings.
2. Enter the administrator password (default: sfb) to access Setup screen.
3. Navigate to Windows Settings->Go to Admin Sign-in.
4. Select Administrator from the bottom-left corner and then enter the administrator password (default: sfb).
5. Tap the Start button, and then go to Settings->Upgrade & Security->Windows Update, and select Advanced options.
6. Enable Automatically download updates, even over metered data connections (charge may apply).

Manually Windows Update Procedure

1. On the display screen, navigate to More->Settings.
2. Enter the administrator password (default: sfb) to access Setup screen.
3. Navigate to Windows Settings->Go to Admin Sign-in.

4. Select Administrator from the bottom-left corner and then enter the administrator password (default: sfb).

5. Do one of the following:

6. Long tap the Start button, and then select Device Manager.
   Select the desired device and then long tap the device to select Update driver.
   Select a desired way to update.

7. Tap the Start button, and then navigate to Settings->Upgrade & Security->Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
   Select the desired device and then complete the installation.

The software upgrade is only supported by the operating system of 64-bit Windows 10.

Enabling/Disabling Auto-framing

Procedure

1. Tap More-> 🌐 to enter the Camera Control page.
2. Select

Controlling UVC80/UVC50/UVC30 Room Camera Position

Procedure

1. Tap More-> 🚫 to enter the Camera Control page.
2. Tap 🔒 or 🔒 to zoom camera in/out.
3. Tap / / / > to pan/tilt the camera.

If the auto-framing feature is enabled, you can not control the UVC30 Room camera.

Resetting UVC80/UVC50/UVC30 Room Camera to Home Position

Procedure

1. Tap More-> to enter the Camera Control page.
2. Tap Reset.

⚠️ Operating Requirements

• Do not let a child operate the device without guidance.
• Do not let a child play with the device or any accessory in case of accidental swallowing.
• Please use the accessories provided or authorized by the manufacturer only.
• The power supply of the device shall meet the requirements of the input voltage of the device. Please use the provided surge protection power socket only.
• Before plugging or unplugging any cable, make sure that your hands are completely dry.

• During a thunderstorm, stop using the device and disconnect it from the power supply. Unplug the power plug and the Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) twisted pair (the radio frequency cable) to avoid lightning strike.

• If the device is left unused for a rather long time, disconnect it from the power supply and unplug the power plug.

Troubleshooting

The unit cannot supply power to device other than Yealink device.

There is a bad connection with the plug.

1. Clean the plug with a dry cloth.

2. Connect it to another wall outlet.

The usage environment is out of operating temperature range.

The cable between the unit and the Yealink device is connected incorrectly.

1. Connect the cable correctly.

You cannot connect the cable properly.

1. You may have connected a wrong Yealink device.

2. Use the correct power supply.

Some dust, etc., may be in the port.
