- Introduction

Use the product only as described and for the indicated purpose. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.
- Intended use
The product is intended for use indoors and outdoors as a climbing aid. Any use other than that described or any modification of the product is not permissible and may result in injury and / or damage to the product. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Leave children unattended with the packaging material or the product. The packaging material can cause danger of suffocation and danger to life by strangulation. Children often underestimate the danger. Always keep children away from this product. This product is not a toy.
Before using the multipurpose scaffold/ladder pay attention to the pictogram on the stick-on label. Follow what the pictogram depicts in order to avoid accidents.
■

Maximum total load 150 kg. The weight of the user including tools and other materials must not exceed 150 kg.
- Do not attempt to repair a damaged multipurpose scaffold/ladder yourself. Have the repair carried out by a competent specialist.
■ Be particularly careful in wind, rain or frost.
- Keep the multipurpose scaffold/ladder clean and remove any dirt. Keep the multipurpose scaffold / ladder dry to prevent slipping or tipping over
● Safety advice for setting up the multipurpose scaffold/ladder
- Do not use any attachments, components or accessories that are not expressly permitted for this multipurpose scaffold / ladder.
Do not use the multipurpose scaffold/ladder on slippery surfaces.
Do not set up the multipurpose scaffold/ladder in front of unlocked doors. - Do not use the multipurpose scaffold/ladder on stairs if the treads are not at the same height. The multipurpose scaffold/ladder could overturn or you could lose your balance.
- Ensure that all base stabilisers are in full contact with the supporting surface.
- Be particularly careful if you erect the multipurpose scaffold/ladder on a dust sheet, carpet or other protective covering. The base stabilisers may not obtain enough grip and could slip.
● Safety advice for using the multipurpose scaffold/ladder

WARNING! DANGER OF LOSS OF LIFE OR ACCIDENT! Do
not pull or push too hard on any objects when you are standing on the multipurpose scaffold / ladder. This could cause the multipurpose scaffold / ladder to topple over and result in your death or injury.
Do not use the multipurpose scaffold/ladder if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or strong medication. Do not use the multipurpose scaffold / ladder if you are ill or in a poor state of health.
- Do not use the multipurpose scaffold/ladder if it is wet or damaged, or slippery because of water, ice or snow.
■ Wear nonslip shoes when you are using the multipurpose/ladder.
- Be careful when you are climbing up or down the multipurpose scaffold/ladder.
Safety instructions
■ Never attempt to move the foot of the multipurpose scaffold / ladder when you are standing on it. First climb down from the multipurpose scaffold / ladder and then move it. Then you can climb up the multipurpose scaffold / ladder again.
- Ensure that there is nobody under the multipurpose scaffold / ladder while it is being used.
This multipurpose scaffold / ladder is not a toy. It is not suitable for use by children. Ensure that the multipurpose scaffold / ladder cannot be used by children. Do not leave the multipurpose scaffold / ladder unattended after you have set it up.
The multipurpose scaffold / ladder may only be used as a scaffold or a ladder of the type shown in these instructions for use. Use only the attached parts that are supplied with this product when assembling a scaffold or a ladder.
- Do not use a rope to operate this multipurpose scaffold / ladder.
■ Ensure that the multipurpose scaffold / ladder is suitable for the task you intend to perform.
- Do not work for too long on the multipurpose scaffold / ladder without regular breaks (tiredness is dangerous).
- Objects carried when climbing on a scaffold / ladder must not be heavy and must be easy to handle.
- When working hold on firmly to the ladder with one hand or take additional precautions if this is not possible.

Face ladder when ascending or descending ladder
Before use
□ Avoid damaging ladders when transporting them on a roof rack or on the back of a lorry. Ensure that the ladder is appropriately fastened in place.
☐ Remove any foreign material such as wet paint, dirt, oil or snow from the multipurpose scaffold/ladder.
☐ Lock all doors and windows (but not emergency exits) in the working area of the multipurpose scaffold / ladder.
Use
- Assembling the multipurpose scaffold / ladder
Note: If possible have a second person help you with the assembly.

Mount the short base stabiliser 4 to the narrow ladder section 2 and the long base stabiliser 1 to the wide ladder section 3, as shown in Figure A.

Attach the working platform 5 to the rung at the desired height on both ladder sections 2 and 3 (Figure B).
Note: Ensure that the maximum standing height of 100 cm is not exceeded (Figure F). - Insert the plastic sleeve 16 to the narrow ladder section 2 and the wide narrow section 3.
- Insert the short threaded rod 11 each with a plain washer 15 to the narrow ladder section 2 and the long threaded rod 12 each with a plain washer 15 to the wide ladder section 3.
- Connect the diagonal struts 6 with the slotted bolt 8 and the locknut 13.
- Attach the diagonal struts 6 to the ladder sections 2 and 3 using the wing nuts 7.
● Disassembling the multipurpose scaffold / ladder
☐ Disassemble the multipurpose scaffold / ladder in the reverse order to that described in the section "Assembling the multipurpose scaffold / ladder".
- Assembling the standing ladder
- Avoid any tasks in which a lateral load is placed on the standing ladder, e.g. drilling sideways into solid material (e.g. masonry or concrete).

Do not use the standing ladder as a means of ascending on to another level.
-
Mount the short base stabiliser 4 to the narrow ladder section 2 and the long base stabiliser 1 to the wide ladder section 3 as shown in Figure A.
- Push the narrow ladder section 2 as far into the guide angle of the wide ladder section 3 as possible until the guide pins on both sides engage in the guide groove (Figure G).
- Guide the threaded end piece of the safety stay 18 through the hole on the narrow ladder section 2
- Fix the safety stay 18 in place by screwing the plastic nut 17 tightly from the inner face of the stile on to the threaded end piece of the safety stay 18 (Figure H).
● Disassembling the standing ladder
☐ Disassemble the standing ladder in the reverse order to that described in the section "Assembling the standing ladder".
- Assembling the leaning ladder
- Avoid any tasks in which a lateral load is placed on the leaning ladder, e.g. drilling sideways into solid material (e.g. masonry or concrete).
- Attach the long base stabiliser 1 to the wide ladder section 3, as shown in Figure J.
- Push the narrow ladder section 2 as far into the guide angle of the wide ladder section 3 as possible until the locking hooks on the narrow ladder section 2 can fit over the second rung of the wide ladder section 3 (Figure L).
- Hold the leaning ladder in a vertical position in front of the wall or the object against which the leaning ladder is to be used. Disengage the locking hooks and slide the narrow ladder section 2 as far upwards as necessary until it reaches the desired climbing height (Figure M).
- At that point fit the locking hooks over the rung of the wide ladder section 3. Place the leaning ladder carefully against the wall or the object (Figure N).
● Disassembling the leaning ladder
☐ Disassemble the leaning ladder in the reverse order to that described in the section "Assembling the leaning ladder".
Repair, maintenance and storage / Cleaning and care / Disposal
● Repair, maintenance and storage
□ Repairs and maintenance work on the multipurpose scaffold / ladder must be carried out by an appropriate specialist.
☐ When it is not being used, store the multipurpose scaffold / ladder in a secure dry place.
- Cleaning and care
□ Clean the multipurpose scaffold / ladder after each use.
□ Use a soft, fluff-free cloth for this operation.
☐ Use a moist cloth and if necessary a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt.
☐ Do not use corrosive or aggressive cleaning agents
□ Dry the product carefully after cleaning.
- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
