This lamp is designed for use indoors only, in dry and enclosed rooms. This product is intended for use in a private, domestic environment only. Other uses or modification of the product shall be considered as improper use and could lead to injury or damage. Only use the included spare parts, using other parts will void the warranty. The manufacturer accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from improper use.

To avoid danger to life from electric shock
Before connecting the lamp to the mains, always check it and the mains lead 4 with plug 5 for any damage. Never use your lamp if you discover that it is damaged in any way.
If the external flexible lead of this lamp becomes damaged, avoid danger and have it replaced by the manufacturer, his servicing agent or an equivalent electrical appliance repair specialist.

CAUTION! A damaged mains lead presents a serious danger to life from electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the lamp, please contact
the Service Centre or an electrician.
■ Never let the lamp come into contact with water or other liquids.
■ Never open any electrical devices such as switches, fittings etc. or allow any object to be inserted into them. This sort of interference can lead to a serious danger to life from electric shock.
■ Only touch the insulated part of the plug when connecting to or disconnecting from power!
This light is not suitable for dimmer or electronic switches.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
Before installation ensure that the available mains voltage agrees with the operating voltage required for the lamp (230–240 V \~).

To avoid danger of fire and injury
DANGER OF INJURY! Do not look directly into the light source (light bulb, LED etc.).
⚠️ DANGER OF BURNS! Ensure the lamp has been switched off and allowed to cool before you touch it. In this way you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs develop a great deal of heat.
- Do not allow any objects to cover the lamp. Fire can result from the development of too much heat.
■ Position the lamp so that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
■ Never leave the lamp operating unattended.
This lamp is not suitable as a night light.
Operation
Using the lamp
□ Completely unwrap the power cord 4.
☐ Connect the power cord 4 to the light.

☐ Insert the mains plug 5 into the mains socket.
□ Adjust the desired height of the lamp head 1 with the telescopic arm 2.
□ Adjust the desired position of the lamp head 1.
☐ Press the ON/OFF switch 3 to switch the light on.
☐ Press the ON/OFF switch 3 to switch the light off.
- Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning, always pull out the mains plug 5 out of the socket.
Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like as they could damage the lamp.
☐ For electrical safety reasons, never clean the lamp with water or other fluids or immerse it in water. Use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.
☐ The lamp is maintenance-free.
- Disposal

The packaging consists entirely of environmentally friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.
