Length of the game: a pprox. 30 minutes
Helsinki is the capital of which country? Which country has the flag with the big red dot? What is the name of the country that is in the shape of a boot?
In this game, players search for 51 countries all over the world. The player who needs the fewest hints to recognize a country, will win this intriguing, Know your world' game?
Contents
1 gameboard
4 gametigures
51 country cards
8 joker card
1 die
Set game instructions
3 Hints:
name of its capital, the flag geographic position
reach target first
Game idea
Players one by one try to work out which country is being searched for. They can receive up to three hints about the name of its capital, the flag or its geographic position. The fewer hints a player needs the further he can move his game figure. If however a player guesses wrong, he can't move the figure.
The aim of the game is to be the first to move one's figure to the target.
The country cards
Before starting to play take a look at a country card. There you will find information about the flag, capital and geographic position as shown:

USA • USA • Etats-Unis VS • EE.UU. • USA Name of country Hint 1: Flag of the country 30 Number of flag Washington • Washington D.C. • Washington Washington • Washington • Washington Hint 2: Capital Number of geographic position Hint 3: Geographic positionThe numbers of the flags and the countries are shown on the game board.
Preparation of the Game
Place the game board in the center of the table. Each player receives a game figure and places it on the starting square. Any extra figures are put to the side.

How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. The youngest player starts and tries his luck as an expert in geography. The neighbor on his left draws a country card and gives the hints.
Important:
The letters on the squares determine the level of difficulty. The further a game figure moves the more difficult it will be to determine which country is being described with two hints
The squares
- Zone A:
If hjame figure stands on one of these squares the player himself can decide which hint he wants to be given first. The whistleblower then names the capital, the number of the flag or the number of the country accordingly.

zone C = whistleblower determines hint

right answer
1 hint = move 3 squares 2 hints = move 2 squares 1 hint = move 1 square
wrong answer: joker card
- Zone B:
If one's game figure is on one of these squares the player has to roll the die. The die shows three symbols, numbers 1 to 3. The hint corresponding to symbol 1 is given first. If you need more information, you can ask for hint 2 and eventually hint 3.

flag

capital

geographic position of country
- Zone C:
Is the most complicated phase of the game, as the whistleblower determines which hint is given first (flag, capital or geographic position).
Watch out!
- You can try to name the country a fter the first hint or you can ask for another hint.
• However you can only make one guess. I f you are wrong, you cannot move your game figure on.
The country guess
Finally after the third hint you have to name the country in question. The whistleblower checks your answer.
• The country you named is right!
You're an expert! Move your figure according to the number of hints you needed, ie
one hint = three squares
two hints = two squares
three hints = one square
• You named the wrong g country!
Sorry! Do not move your game figure. Take a joker card and place it in front of you for use later in the game.
The country card is put on a pile face-up next to the game board. Now the whistleblower will be the country expert and the neighbor on his left will provide the hints.
The joker cards

natural_image
Cartoon illustration of a boy wearing a backpack and boots, giving a thumbs-up gesture (no text or symbols)The joker cards make it easier to guess a country. If you have collected two joker cards you can turn them in when it's your turn. The whistleblower then discretely draws a country card from the pile of discarded cards rather than the provision pile. The player therefore knows that the country in question has already been looked for during the game, although, of course, he does not know which one it is.
Watch out!
Once all the country cards have been used up, the pile of discarded cards - except for the first ten cards- is shuffled and piled facedown as a new provision pile.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as the first player's figure has reached or passed the target square on the end (the exact number does not have to be rolled on the die). This player wins the game and is the „Geography Specialist“.
Final Dash Variation
In this version of the game players must remember which player started the game. A round of the game is complete once a player reaches or passes the target square. It is not necessary to reach the target square exactly. In this version each player gets the chance to have a final turn even after a player has reached the target square. Whoever is able to move their figure the farthest wins the game.
Hint: It may be easier to move the figures back to beginning of game board after they reach the target square in order to determine who moved ahead the farthest.
Example:
A four player game: Players A, B, C and D are playing and player A starts the game. Player B reaches the target square first; players C and D then still get the chance to take their final turns to see how far ahead they can move their figures. Player A started the game so they do not get another roll of the die. In the event of a draw there are various winners.
