How do I clean the filter on the HD9908 hair dryer?

Unplug the hair dryer and gently remove the filter cover at the back. Use a soft brush or a vacuum to remove lint and dust. Do not use water on the filter.

Can I use the HD9908 with a voltage converter?

Safety

• This hair dryer may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have been instructed in the safe use of the product and that they understand the hazards and risks involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the hair dryer and its mains lead out of the reach of children under the age of 8.
• The hair dryer may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardize their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the hazards involved. Never let children play with the hair dryer.
• If the product is to be used by any third party ensure that the instruction manual always accompanies it.
• The appliance should only be connected to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz power supply.
• The appliance is only intended for normal domestic use and only in the manner described in this instruction manual.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other type of liquid.
• Never subject the appliance to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Connect the hair dryer to the mains via an RCD with a tripping current of max 30 mA. Check the RCD before each use.

• Do not touch the mains lead with wet hands.

• Keep in mind that the appliance is connected to the mains even when it is switched off, as long as the mains plug is connected to a socket.

• Do not carry the appliance by its mains lead.
• Do not use the appliance if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in any way.
• Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to open the casing and repair the appliance yourself. All repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians.

• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, authorized service facility or a qualified tradesman.
