Frequently Asked Questions - HD9908 Clas Ohlson

How do I clean the filter on the HD9908 hair dryer?
Unplug the hair dryer and gently remove the filter cover at the back. Use a soft brush or a vacuum to remove lint and dust. Do not use water on the filter.
Can I use the HD9908 with a voltage converter?
The hair dryer is designed for 220-240 V. Using a voltage converter may damage the device or cause safety hazards. Check the voltage rating before use.
What is the cool shot button for?
The cool shot button releases a burst of cold air to set your hairstyle in place after drying with warm air.
How do I attach the concentrator nozzle?
Simply snap the nozzle onto the front of the hair dryer. It clicks into place and can be removed by pulling it off.
Is the HD9908 safe to use in the bathroom?
Yes, but always keep the hair dryer away from water. Never use it near a bathtub, sink, or other water sources to avoid electric shock.
What do the heat and speed settings do?
The heat settings control temperature (high for fast drying, low for gentle drying). The speed settings control airflow (high for volume, low for precision styling).
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter every 2-4 weeks depending on usage. A clogged filter reduces efficiency and may cause overheating.
Can I use the diffuser on short hair?
Yes, the diffuser is ideal for short to medium hair to add volume and reduce frizz. It distributes air evenly.
What should I do if the hair dryer stops working?
First, check if the plug is connected and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If it still doesn't work, contact Clas Ohlson customer service or a qualified technician.
Is the HD9908 suitable for professional use?
The HD9908 is designed for home use. For professional salons, we recommend models with higher wattage and longer continuous operation.
