How do I pair the Hama Neckband earphones with my phone?

Turn on the earphones by pressing the MF button until you hear 'Power ON'. Then press and hold the MF button until the red and blue LEDs flash alternately. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select Hama BTHNeckband from the list. If prompted for a password, enter 0000.

How long does it take to charge the earphones?

Charging takes approximately 2 hours. The red LED lights up during charging and turns blue when fully charged.

Can I use the earphones while they are charging?

No, it is recommended to switch off the earphones before charging. Do not use them during charging to avoid damage.

How to reset or reconnect if the earphones don't connect automatically?

If automatic connection fails, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earphones are paired. If needed, repeat the pairing steps (press and hold MF button until LED flashes red/blue). Also check for obstacles or weak battery.

How do I answer or reject a call with the earphones?

Press the MF button once to answer an incoming call. Press twice to reject. During a call, press once to end. Double-press to redial the last number.

What is the maximum range of the Bluetooth connection?

The maximum range is 10 meters (approx. 33 feet) in open space. Walls and obstacles can reduce the range.

How do I know when the battery is low?

When the battery is low, the earphones will play an announcement and the LED will flash red.

Can I connect two devices at the same time?

Yes, the earphones support multipoint connection. Pair with the first device, disable its Bluetooth, pair with the second device, then re-enable Bluetooth on the first. Both will be connected.

How to clean the earphones?

Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the earphones. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and ensure no water enters the openings.

What should I do if the earphones are damaged or not working?

4. GettingStarted

Warning-Battery

- O nlyusesuitablechargingdevicesorUSB connectionsforcharging.

- A s a rule, donotcharged devices or USB connection that are effective and donotry to repair them yourself.

• D o n otoverchargetheproductorallowthe batterytocompletelydischarge.

- A voidstoring, chargingorusingthe device inextremetemperaturesandextremelylow atmospheric pressure (forexample,athigh altitudes).

- W henstoredovera longperiodoftime, batteriesshouldbechargedregularly(atleast everythreemonths).

• The earphones are equipped with a rechargeable battery. T hebatterymustbefullychargedbefore usingthedeviceforthefirsttime.
• Ensure that the earphones are switched off before charging them.
• B eginchargingbyconnectingtheincludedUSB chargingcabletothechargingsocket(7)as wellastotheUSBconnectionofa P C/laptop.
• A Internatively, y oucanchargetheearphones using a suitable USB charger. Please refer to the operatinginstructionsfortheUSBchargerused.
• The display lights up constantly in red during the charging process.
• It takes around 2 hours until the battery is completely charged.

5.Operation

Switchingtheearphoneson/off

• Press the MF button (5) until a voice says "Power ON" and the blue LED flashes.
• To switch it off, press and hold the MF button (5)untila v oicesays"PowerOFF"andthered LEDflashes.

The functions described in this section are only available for Bluetooth ^ -capable terminal devices.

5.1. Bluetooth ^® pairing

- T heearphonesandtheterminaldevicesshouldbe no furtherthanonemetre a part. Thesmallerthe distance, the better.

- S witchontheearphoneswiththeMFbutton(5).

- Press and hold the MF button (5) until the red and blueLEDsflashalternatingly. Theearphones are searchingfora Blue to Connection.

- O pentheBluetooth® settingsonyourterminal deviceandwaituntil HamaBTHNeckband appearsinthelistofBluetooth® devicesfound.

- S e |HamaBTHNeckband andwaituntil thearphonesare listedasconnectedinthe Bluetooth® settingsonyourterminaldevice.

Note- Bluetooth password

Some terminal devices require a password in order to connect to another Bluetooth ^ device.

- If your terminal device requests a password for connectiontotheearphones,enter0000.

5.3. Bluetooth ^® multipointconnection

TheseearphonescanconnecttotwoBluetooth®-enabledterminaldevicessimultaneously(multipoint).

• Firstconnecttheearphoneswiththefirstterminal deviceasdescribedin5.1.
• T hendisableBluetooth® onthatterminaldevice.
• N ext,connecttheearphoneswiththesecond terminaldeviceasdescribedin5.1.
• A ctivateBluetooth® on the first terminal device once more. The earphones now connect to that terminal device automatically.

5.4.Audioplayback

• N otethatthefunctionsdescribedunder5.3. and 5.4. are only possible with an active Bluetooth® connection.

• Press and hold Jump backward one title (6) to skiptotheprevioustitle.

- Press the MF button(5) twice or use your telephone to reject an incoming call.
