Save these instructions for future reference.
- Protect the appliance, power cord and battery from heat, sunlight, water, fire and sharp edges.

Connect the power cord on the appliance to an easily accessible mains outlet.

USE
NOTE: After about 30 minutes of inactivity, the speaker switches to standby mode to save the battery.
NOTE: The AC switch must be in the ON position to charge the battery.
- Connect the power cord to the AC socket on the rear of the speaker.
- Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
- Turn the AC switch to the ON position.
- The charging status light is blue during charging. Charging stops when the speaker is fully charged.
PAIRING
NOTE:
- If there are no paired devices within range when the Bluetooth mode is activated, pairing mode is activated automatically.
-
If a paired device is within range, the speaker will be connected automatically to it.
-
Start the speaker by turning the main power switch on the rear panel to ON.
- Press and hold the SELECT INPUT button on the top of the speaker until the Bluetooth status light starts to flash blue. A voice that says Pairing will be heard to indicate that the speaker is in pairing mode.
- Place the speaker and the Bluetooth device within 1 metre of each other during pairing.

Activate searching for Bluetooth devices on the mobile phone or device to be paired with the speaker.

iPhone: Go to SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH (check that Bluetooth is activated)
- Blackberry: Go to SETTINGS/OPTIONS> BLUETOOTH Activate BLUETOOTH
- Android: Go to SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH > MENU > Search for devices (check that Bluetooth is activated)

Other mobile phones/devices: See the instructions for the device.

When the Bluetooth device finds the speaker, select ER2536TA from the list of found devices.
-
Enter the password 0000 (four zeros), if required. Press OK or YES to pair together the two devices.

When pairing is completed, you will hear a voice that says Bluetooth is connected and the status lamp lights blue.
NOTE: If the speaker is to be connected to another device, it must first be disconnected from the device it is paired with. Select ER2536TA in the Bluetooth settings on the connected devices and select Disconnect or unpair. When pairing has been disconnected, repeat the pairing procedure with the second unit.
CONTROL
Guitar Input
Connect an electric guitar to the guitar input to use of the speaker as an amplifier.
Guitar Volume
Adjust the volume of the connected guitar
MIC Echo
Adjust the delay on the connected microphone (sold separately)
MIC Volume
Adjust the volume of the connected microphone (sold separately)
Karaoke
Press to activate the karaoke function. The Bluetooth or AUX signal is automatically adjusted to emphasize the vocal part when a microphone is connected.
MIC In
Connect a microphone (sold separately) to the MIC In socket.
Volume setting
- Turn the volume knob on top of the speaker to the left to lower the volume. Turn the knob to the right to increase the volume.
- The volume can also be controlled via the connected device's volume control.
Equalizer
Move the sliders up or down to adjust the bass and treble.
Select input
Press the SELECT INPUT button repeatedly to alternate between AUX IN and Bluetooth.
Switching On/Off
- If the speaker is fully charged, switch the speaker on or off using the main power switch at the rear.
- If the charger is connected, switch the speaker on or off using the AC switch at the rear.
CHARGING DEVICES
- Connect the device to be charged to the speaker's USB port with a USB charging cable.
- Charging starts automatically.
- Check the charging status of the device on the charge status lamp.
MUSIC PLAYBACK
Via Bluetooth
NOTE:
- Check that speakers is connected to a Bluetooth device.
- When the connection is completed, the music can be controlled using the controls on the speaker or the connected device.
Play/Pause
Press the ▶ button to pause/resume playback in Bluetooth mode.
Change song
- Press the button to go to the next song in Bluetooth mode.
- Press the button to go to the previous song in Bluetooth mode.
Via the AUX cable
NOTE: When a device is connected to the AUDIO INPUT connector, the function of the buttons on the speaker is limited. Control music playback using the controls on the connected device.
- Connect the AUX cable's red and white plugs to the white (L) and Red (R) AUDIO INPUT connections at the rear of the speaker.
- Connect the green plug at the other end of the cable to the external device's headphone socket (smartphone, PDA or MP3 player).
- Open a media player on the device and press PLAY to play the music.
- Control music playback and volume using the controls on the connected device.
TROUBLESHOOTING
You can pair the Bluetooth device with the speaker but no music is heard.
- Check that the Bluetooth unit supports the profile A2DP.
- Increase the volume on the Bluetooth device.
- Disconnect the pairing and pair the devices again.
You cannot pair the Bluetooth device with the speaker.
- Place the speaker and the Bluetooth device within 1 metre of each other during pairing.
- Press and hold the SELECT INPUT button until the Bluetooth status lamp lights. A voice that says Pairing will be heard and the status lamp starts to flash blue.
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled on the device.
- Repeat pairing as instructed.
- Check that speaker is fully charged or that the power cord is connected.
Pairing mode on the speaker cannot be activated.
- Press and hold the SELECT INPUT button until the Bluetooth status lamp lights. The speaker is in pairing mode when a voice says Pairing and the status lamp starts to flash blue.
