How do I start my Hoover RBC040 robot vacuum?
Make sure the device is charged (initial charge of 6 hours). Turn on the switch on the side. The LCD screen lights up. Use the AUTO touch button on the robot or the AUTO button on the remote control to start automatic cleaning. You can also schedule a cleaning via the remote control.

Place the virtual wall on the same surface as the robot, more than 3 m from the station. Slide the switch to choose the range (2m, 4m or 6m). The infrared transmitter must point across the area to be delimited.
What if the vacuum does not detect stairs?
Clean the floor sensors with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Make sure the steps are more than 8 cm high. If the problem persists, use a virtual wall to block access to the stairs.
How do I change the robot's battery?
Turn off the robot and turn it over. Remove the screws from the battery cover, take out the old battery and replace it with a new one (respect polarity). Put the cover back on and fully recharge the robot.
