WORKING PARAMETERS OF THE AUTOMATIC CURLER

1. The time of a single cycle

Range: 5-12 seconds

The default setting is 5 seconds. To change the time, press the timer button (7).

Select a shorter time winding to effect of gentle wave or longer for a stronger curls.

1. Temperature adjustment

Range: 140-230°C

The default setting is 190^ C. To change the temperature, press temperature adjustment button (8).

Select a lower temperature of the winding to effect gentle undulations or higher for stronger curls.

NOTE: The lower temperature is recommended for fine and dyed hair. Higher temperature is recommended for thicker hair or naturally wavy.

1. Direction of curling

There are three settings available: left, right, and automatic. Auto mode selects alternately turn direction once to the right, once to the left.

Select the operating mode with the switch (9).

HAIR PREPARATION

Make sure the hair is clean, well-combed and dry. Seperate the sections of hair not wider than 2cm.

USING THE AUTOMATIC CURLER

1. Connect the device to a power source.
2. Set the curler as described in section WORKING PARAMETERS OF THE AUTOMATIC CURLER.
3. Wait until the curler beeps to indicate readiness.
4. Insert the strand of hair into curling chamber (2) so that hair goes under rotating hook (4) as shown on figure No. 2.
5. Press curling button (6).
6. The curler winds the hair around the cylinder and holds for the amount of time set. Then it releases the hair.
7. Repeat steps 4 - 6.
8. After finished usage of the curler, turn off the switch (9) and unplug the power cord.
   NOTE: After 60 minutes, curler turns off automatically. To resume operation, turn off the switch (9) and restart.
   It is recommended not to comb hair just after finished curling. When the hair cools down, the effect will be stronger.

WHEN HAIR GETS TANGLED

If the curler is used as advised and hair is combed through, it should not happen that hair is drawn in and tangled. It is important that hair section is not too big and comb runs easily through hair. The curler automatically monitors the operation of winding engine. In case hair gets improperly drawn in, the device will give three short beep signals and start to curl in the opposite direction in order to release hair.

If however hair gets stuck in the curler, turn the device off using the on/off switch (9) and then try to gently take the hair out.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning make sure that the curler is unplugged and cool.

It is important to regularly clean the curler's chamber out of the hair. Do not use sharp tools as they can scratch the tourmaline coating.

In case of dirt hard to remove use the accessory for cleaning. If necessary wet the accessory slightly with water with small amount of dishwashing liquid added. Then put the accessory into curling chamber and turn several times. In case of necessity, repeat the activities.

Accessory for cleaning can be reused numerous times. It has to be rinsed and left for drying after using.

Before re-using the curler make sure that all its elements have dried thoroughly.
