How do I pair my Bluetooth device with the BT03BK?

Power on the speaker. Press and hold the play/pause button for 2 seconds to enter Bluetooth mode (blue LED flashes). On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'BP BT03'. Select it to pair. If prompted for a password, enter '0000'. Once paired, the blue LED becomes steady.

Why is there no sound in Bluetooth mode?

Ensure the speaker is paired and Bluetooth is enabled on your source device. Try turning off Bluetooth and re-pairing. Also, keep your device within 10 meters of the speaker. If the problem persists, check that volume is turned up on both devices.

How do I use the FM radio?

Insert the supplied 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN jack to use as an antenna. Power on and press the play/pause button for 2 seconds to enter FM mode. Short press the play/pause button to auto scan and save stations (up to 50 presets). Use volume +/- to select preset stations.

How do I play music from a microSD card?

Copy MP3/WAV files to a microSD card (up to 64GB). Insert the card into the slot on the rear panel. Power on and press the play/pause button for 2 seconds to enter microSD mode. Playback starts automatically. Use volume +/- to skip tracks.

How do I charge the speaker?

Use the supplied USB charging cable to connect the speaker's microUSB port to a USB charger (DC 5V, 1A or above). The red LED will light during charging and turn off when fully charged. First charge: at least 10 hours. Do not charge longer than 24 hours.

What should I do if the speaker automatically switches to standby mode?

This is normal after 10 minutes of no audio input (ERP2 standard). To resume, simply play audio again. If low volume causes it, increase the volume on your audio source. If the problem persists, contact service.

Can I use the speaker while it is charging?

Yes, the speaker can play music during charging. However, charging may take longer if the speaker is in use.

How do I reset the unit?

If the unit malfunctions due to electrostatic discharge or other issues, switch it off, disconnect the power, wait a few moments, then reconnect and power on. Alternatively, move the speaker to another location to avoid interference.

What is the maximum microSD card capacity supported?

The speaker supports microSD cards up to 64GB (FAT32 format). Only MP3 and WAV audio formats are supported. Not all cards are guaranteed to work due to brand differences.

How do I clean the speaker?

Always unplug the speaker before cleaning. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use chemical solvents, aerosol sprays, or allow moisture to enter the openings. For the woofer, dust can be removed with a dry cloth.

8. The only means of completely disconnecting the product from the power supply is by removing the power cord from the wall outlet or the product. The wall outlet or the power cord entry to the product must remain freely accessible at all times while the product is in use.

9. Try to install the product near a wall socket or extension cord and shall be easily accessible.

10. The highest environmental temperature suitable for this product is 35^ C.

11. ESD hints - If the product maybe reset or not reset to operation of control due to electrostatic discharge, just switch off and reconnect again, or move the product to another location.

28. Battery

1. The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

2. The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

3. Battery usage CAUTION-to prevent battery leakage which may result in body injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:

- Install all batteries correctly, + and - as marked on the apparatus.

This product with ecodesign complies with the stage 2 requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) NO. 1275/2008 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC regard to standby and off mode electric power consumption of electronic household and office equipment. After 10 minutes without any audio input, the device will automatically switch into

standby mode. Follow up the instruction manual to resume the operation.

Important note:

This device is equipped with an energy saving mode: if no signal is given during 10 minutes the device will switch automatically into standby mode in order to save energy (ERP 2 standard). Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may be recognized as "no audio signal": this will affect the capability of signal detection from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting on the audio source player (MP3 player, etc.), in order to resume playback. Please contact the local service center if the problem remains.

WARNING

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 12. If the system is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the player. If this occurs, the system will not operate properly. Please leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.
13. Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.
14. When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug, never pull on the cord.

15. Depending on the electromagnetic waves used by a television broadcast, if a TV is turned on near this unit while it is also on, lines might appear on the TV screen.

16. Neither this unit nor the TV is malfunctioning. If you see such lines, keep this unit well away from the TV set.

17. The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device must remain readily operable.
18. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

Location of controls:

1. Play/pause button

a. Long press it 2 seconds to switch the play mode between Bluetooth/FM/microSD and AUX IN mode.
b. In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press it to play pause or resume music playback.
c. In FM radio mode, short press it to scan and save the available station automatically.

2,3.Volume +/- button

a. Press and hold it to adjust the output volume level.
b. In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press it to skip the playback track.

Battery charging

This unit had built-in rechargeable lithium battery inside. Before start the playing, please follow up below step for charging.

1. Using the supplied USB to microUSB type charging cable connects the speaker with your USB charger (USB adaptor or USB output port
   like on PC, USB rating output: 5V/1A, other USB charger with current equal or above 1A). The microUSB connector should connect with the

DC 5V power jack on the rear panel of speaker, and the another terminal connect with USB charger. Then plug your USB charger into the

household AC power.

1. The charging LED will light on in red color during charging, and the red color LED will off when the battery is fully charged.

2. The speaker will off automatically when the battery power exhausted, please arrange recharge for playing.

Important: We recommend connect the USB charger with rating output spec at DC 5V/1A, or equal or above 1A output current USB power. The general USB output on PC (personal computer) is 5V/1A (please reference your PC spec for checking). There may have some charging noise or abnormal function from speaker if the charging current is too low. If it happened, please remove the charging power and put the speaker in a while, then the speaker will reset the function in normal. Please kindly note this is not malfunction.

Notes:

Your battery lifetime will last longer if you follow up below simple guidelines for charging and storing.

a. For charging first time, charge it at least 10 hours.
b. Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C\~35°C (40°F\~95°F).
c. Do not charge longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging or discharging may shorten the battery's life.

d. Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.

e. Please turn off the speaker if long time not to use.

f. The speaker can play music during charging.

Bluetooth operation

The speaker includes Bluetooth function which allows you to wireless playback the audio with other Bluetooth device like smart phone etc. Please follow up below for the operation.

1. Push the power on/off switch to power on the unit, press play/pause button 2 seconds to switch the play source and enter to the Bluetooth mode. The blue color LED will flare which means the speaker is ready to pair with other device.
2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device, and search the available Bluetooth device( please reference your device manual for the operation).
3. Check the available Bluetooth device on the menu list of your device, and select "BP BT03" in order to start pairing. Please key-in "0000" (4 zero) in case of a POP password required during pairing. The blue LED will become stable when the pairing is successful.
4. Select and play the music on your Bluetooth device. Then the sound will output from speaker.
5. During Bluetooth playback, you can short press the play/pause button to play or pause the music; short press the volume +/- button to select last or next track; press and hold volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume.

Phone call hands free: when the cell phone was paired with speaker in Bluetooth mode, and an incoming call is arriving; short press the play/pause button can pick up the call; answer the phone call and talk aim to the microphone hole within 30cm(suggested distance) in order get better conversation sound quality; short press the play/pause button again can end the phone call and resume the music playback.

Notes:

a. All Bluetooth devices are not guaranteed to pair successfully due to different design and brand.
b. Please do not put your cell phone very close to the speaker during phone call hands free conversation, in order to avoid interference which will impact the conversation sound quality.
c. The Bluetooth best working distance is within 10 meters without any obstacle in between.
d. The speaker can broadcast the incoming phone call number smartly in Bluetooth mode.
e. In case the speaker does not pair with other device successfully and no further operation, the speaker auto off after about 10 minutes, please power on the unit again for operation.

FM radio operation

Before listen to the radio, please try to move the unit next to the window as you can, and insert the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable into the AUX IN jack as an external antenna in order to get better reception.

1. Power on the unit, press the play/pause button 2 seconds to switch and enter FM radio mode.
2. Short press the play/pause button to auto scan and save the available FM station( max support up to 50 preset station ); short press the volume +/- button to select the last or next preset station; press and hold the volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume.

TF/MicroSD card playback

Please copy the MP3 format music into the TF or MicroSD card device (max supported 64GB) before start the playing, and then insert the card into the slot on the rear panel of unit. Power on the unit, press the play/pause button 2 seconds to switch and enter the MicroSD playback mode; the speaker will read out the card device automatically, and get the music output after few seconds.

In TF/MicroSD card playback mode, short press the volume+/- button to select the last or next track; press and hold the volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume. Short press the play/pause button to play or pause the music.

Notes:

a. The TF/MicroSD card playback mode is only available when there have card device installed on the speaker successfully.
b. The supported audio format is MP3/WAV in TF/MicroSD playback mode, but not guarantee all mentioned audio file.
c. Not all TF/MicroSD card devices are supported due to different design and brand, the max supported storage is 64GB.
d. Please kindly insert the TF or MicroSD card into the slot properly.

AUX IN/ MP3 link mode

Using the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable connect the AUX jack on the speaker rear panel with the line out or headphone jack on any other external audio player like mp3 player etc. Power on the speaker, press the play/pause button 2 seconds to switch and enter the AUX IN playback mode; select and play the music from your external audio player, then the sound will output from the speaker.

Notes:

a. In AUX IN mode, the main control is on your external audio player side. But you still can increase or decrease the volume on the speaker side.
b. Please kindly note the AUX in mode is only available when the audio cable was plugged in. The unit will switch to AUX IN mode automatically when you connect it with audio cable.

Trouble shooting

1. The unit cannot power on.

a. Please charge the unit and try again.
b. Please contact the service center in case of issue remains.

1. There is no or intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode.

a. Please turn off the Bluetooth, and repair with the speaker.
b. Please put your Bluetooth device closer with the speaker.

1. No available FM station or background noise in FM.

a. Please plug on the 3.5mm stereo audio cable and re-scan the available FM station.
b. Please tune to another FM station for listening.
c.Please try to move the unit next to the window in order to get better reception.

1. The speaker cannot read out the music in TF or microSD card.

a. Please check if you insert the TF or microSD card into the slot properly.
