Unit installation and power setting

DC power: Using the supplied USB power cable, connect with the DC adapter; and connect the other terminal of the USB cable to the micro USB DC power jack on the back panel of the unit. Then plug the DC adapter into your household power source. The red LED power indication will light up after the power connection is successful.

Press the power button for 2 seconds on the front panel of the unit to power on/off the unit. Press the power button on the remote control to standby on/off the unit. The display will light up after power on, and then you can start other operations.

Battery charging: The unit will start charging after connection with DC power, and the power LED on the rear panel will turn green when fully charged. You can check the battery power status by looking at the battery icon on the right top corner of the display. The unit will turn off automatically in case of exhausted battery power. Please arrange re-charging for playing.

Unit power on and standby: Press the power button for 2 seconds on the top panel of the unit to power on/off the unit. Short press the power button on the top panel or remote control can standby on/off the unit (clock time interface on display without sound output). The display will light up after power on, and then you can start other operations.

Notes:

a. The supplied USB power cable includes a universal USB connector and a micro USB connector. The universal USB connector is for DC adapter connection, and the micro USB connector is for DC power USB jack connection. b. Only the supplied power adapter or same rating spec adapter is allowed to use for power operation. c. When you press off power by the power button on the top panel, then the unit cannot power on by remote control due to the power being cut off completely. Please press the power button on the top panel to power on the unit again. d. The unit can play audio during charging; we suggest to power off (display off) the unit for charging in case of fully charging the battery at once.

Display back-light adjustment (dimmer)

Press the "LIGHT" button on the remote control to adjust the display backlight brightness between high, middle, and low levels.

Volume adjustment: Press and hold the previous & next buttons on the top panel to increase or decrease the volume level at high speed. If you short press the previous & next buttons, the volume output level will adjust step by step. If you hold the button for 3 seconds without further operation, the previous & next buttons will resume their function for last/next track selection.

Time operation

Clock time: Power on the unit, then short press the power button again to enter the clock time interface. Short press the mode button 3 times continuously to start the setting, and the hour's digits will flash on the display. Press the previous/next button to adjust the hour. Press the clock button to skip to minute's setting, or press the clock button again to return to hour's setting if needed. Press the previous/next button to adjust the minute, and short press the power button to complete the clock setting.

Alarm operation: Power on the unit, then short press the power button again to enter the clock time interface. Short press the mode button once to start the alarm 1 setting, and the alarm 1 icon (bell with digit 1) will light up. Press the previous/next button to adjust the hour. Press the clock button to skip to minute's setting, or press the clock button again to return to hour's setting if needed. Press the previous/next button to adjust the minute. Press the clock button to skip to alarm source selection, then press the previous/next button to switch the alarm source between beep/USB/microSD/radio/play. Short press the play/pause button and power button again to confirm and complete the alarm setting. For alarm 2 setting, press the mode button twice to start the setting program. The rest of the operation is the same as alarm 1.

Tips:

a. The clock and alarm will work if there is available battery power or DC power connection. We suggest connecting DC power for long-term use. b. When the alarm activates, pressing any button except the previous/next button can cancel the alarm sound, and it will wake up again at the same time the next day. The duration of the alarm voice is 5 minutes and it turns off automatically if there is no further operation. c. When the alarm activates, short press the snooze button to enter snooze mode. The alarm will wake up again in another 5 minutes. Pressing any other button can cancel the snooze. d. Short press the clock button on the top panel once to turn off or on alarm 1; short press it twice to turn off or on alarm 2; long press it to turn off or on both alarm 1 and alarm 2 at once. e. When selecting USB/microSD/radio as the alarm source, short press the play/pause button to preview the alarm track or preset radio station, short press the previous/next button to switch the previewed alarm track and preset station, and press the play/pause button to return to the alarm setting operation. f. When selecting play as the alarm source, the unit can wake up and automatically play the radio/USB/microSD when the time is reached. Short press the play/pause button to switch the wake-up source between play-radio/play-USB/play-microSD. The unit will play for 120 minutes and turn off automatically. g. Please make sure the USB/microSD device with music is properly plugged into the unit when selecting USB/microSD as the alarm source. h. The alarm works in power-off mode (display off).

Sleep: When the unit is in standby mode (clock time interface), short press the play/pause button to activate the sleep setting, short press the previous/next button to adjust the sleep time between off/15/30/45/60/75/90/120, and short press the play/pause button again to confirm the selection. In audio playing mode (radio/USB/microSD/Bluetooth/aux in), the sound will automatically turn off after the selected sleep time arrives. If you return to standby mode and short press the play/pause button again, you can check the remaining sleep minutes.

FM radio operation

The unit has an external antenna that allows you to listen to FM radio stations. Before listening to the radio, please fully extend the antenna and try to move the unit next to a window to get a better radio signal.

Power on the unit, press the "M" key on the top panel of the unit or press the "MODE" button on the remote control to enter radio mode.

  1. Auto tune and preset: Short press the "FM SCAN" button, or press and hold the "PLAY/PAUSE" button on the remote control and top panel of the unit for 3 seconds, and the unit will scan and save available stations automatically. The unit can save up to 60 preset stations.
  2. Auto scan: Press and hold the "Previous" and "Next" buttons on the top panel or remote control to auto scan available stations in upward or downward frequency.
  3. Station manual memory: When you get a favorite station by auto scan, short press the "SAVE" button on the remote control to save the current station. Short press the "REPEAT" key on the remote control, then press the volume – and volume + buttons on the remote control to change the radio frequency by 0.1 MHz steps. Press the "SAVE" button to save the current station manually. If you remain inactive for 10 seconds, the volume knob will resume its volume control function.
  4. Remove weak signal preset station: If you find a weak signal or dislike a radio station while picking up preset stations by pressing the "next" and "previous" buttons, long press the "0" digit button on the remote control to remove the current preset station. The subsequent preset station numbers will move forward accordingly.
  5. Get a specific station: To get a specific frequency station, you can input the frequency directly using the digit buttons on the remote control. For example, if you want to listen to the radio frequency at "104.3 MHz", just key in 1-0-4-3 using the digit buttons on the remote control. The unit will then skip to and play the defined station.
  6. Preset station picking up: Short press the "Previous" or "Next" button on the remote control or front panel to pick up the preset station. Alternatively, input the preset station number using the digit buttons on the remote control. For example, if you want to listen to preset station number 12, just key in 1-2 on the remote control, and the related station will be played.

USB and microSD card playback operation

Before starting the MP3 playback function, make sure the USB and microSD card have been inserted into the USB or microSD port on the unit's rear panel. Also, the MP3 music must have been copied and stored inside the device. The unit supports devices up to 32GB capacity.

  1. Press the "MODE" or "M" button to enter USB or microSD card playback mode. The unit will automatically detect and start playing the music after showing the total number of tracks.
  2. Short press the "Previous" or "Next" button to select the previous or next track. Press and hold the "Previous" or "Next" button on the remote control to fast-forward or fast-rewind the current playing track.

  4. During MP3 playback, briefly pressing the EQ button on the remote control cycles through the equalizer presets: NORMAL, ROCK, POP, CLASS, JAZZ, and BASS.

Notes:

a. Using an extension cable for USB connection is not recommended, as it may affect audio signal transfer and cause noise. b. The unit can only detect and play music when a USB drive or microSD card is installed.

Use the supplied 3.5mm stereo-to-3.5mm audio cable to connect the AUX IN jack on the rear panel of the unit to another player (e.g., MP3 player). The unit will automatically enter AUX IN playback mode. Select and play music from your player, and the sound will be output through the radio.

Please note that the main controls are on your player. In AUX IN mode, the radio can only adjust volume and play/pause functions.
