How do I insert the SIM card and memory card?

Turn off the phone and remove the back cover using the included screwdriver. Remove the battery. Slide the mini SIM cards gently under the holders into the slots. For the memory card, open the door by sliding it to the right until it clicks, then lift the left side. Place the microSD card under the door, align with the slot, close the door and slide it left to lock.

How do I charge the battery?

Connect the micro-USB plug to the phone (ensure correct orientation) and plug the charger into a wall outlet. Charge for about 2-3 hours for a full charge. The phone can be charged while on or off. When fully charged, disconnect the charger.

How do I turn the phone on/off and put it to sleep?

To turn on/off, press and hold the End/Power key. To enter sleep mode, press the Star key then the Right soft key. To wake the phone, press the Left soft key then the Star key.

Is the phone waterproof?

The iGET Defender D10 has IP68 certification, meaning it can be submerged in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. However, this does not guarantee protection against seawater, and the warranty does not cover intentional water damage. Always ensure the charging port cover is closed.

What are the key safety precautions?

Do not use the phone while driving or at petrol stations. Keep it at least 15 mm from your ear and body. Avoid exposure to magnetic fields, extreme temperatures (-10°C to +40°C), and moisture. Turn off the phone near explosive materials, in hospitals, and on airplanes when required.

How do I use the powerbank function?

The phone can act as a power bank to charge other devices. Connect the other device via a micro-USB cable to the phone's powerbank connector (likely the same micro-USB port). The phone needs to have sufficient battery charge.

What should I do if the phone gets wet?

If the phone gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth. If moisture enters the device due to an improperly closed cover, the warranty may be void. In case of moisture inside, contact an authorized service center.

How to lock or unlock the phone?

To lock, press the Star key then the Right soft key. To unlock, press the Left soft key then the Star key. This activates sleep/wake mode.

What type of battery does it use and how to care for it?

The phone uses a removable Li-ion battery. If the battery swells or changes shape, stop using it immediately and replace with a new one. Follow local regulations for battery disposal.

The buyer is obliged to provide a serial number on the warranty card as well as in the delivery note and the proof of purchase. In this context, the buyer acknowledges that unless the serial number of goods is not marked on the proof of purchase, delivery note and in the warranty card and therefore it cannot be possible to compare this serial number marked on goods and its protective packaging with the serial number stated in the warranty card, delivery note and the proof of purchase and thus to verify that the goods runs from the seller, the service center is competent to claim such a goods automatically and reject it immediately. The buyer must instruct all persons to whom the goods would be subsequently sold. Product complaints do with your dealer if you are not on the web www.iget.eu indicated otherwise.

Installing the mini SIM/memory card and battery:

Switch your phone off before installing the cards and the battery.

1. Using the screwdriver from the package, gently unscrew (17) the back cover of the phone and

remove the battery. Do not use violence.

1. Slide the SIM card / cards gently from the underside under the holder into the SIM card slot / slots (15), align the SIM card according to the slot in the shape of the SIM card. Do not manipulate the SIM card holder.
2. You can also insert 8 GB memory card. You will open the memory card door (16) by moving it gently to the right (you will hear a gentle click), then open the door from the left side upwards. Now place the memory card under the door, point it on the slot on the phone. Now you can close the door and click it backwards by moving it gently to the left. Again, you will hear a gentle click.

NOTE: Do not force the cards into the phone. If cards are correctly positioned, those will fit into the designated area.

1. Insert the battery so that its contacts are against the contacts on the phone. Slide the battery gently until it clicks into the place. Do not forget to remove the cover from the battery contact, if present.

2. Screw the back cover of the phone from all sides (17), so it will be sealed. Use the screwdriver from the package.

Note: Confirm the selection by pressing the left, or the right soft key (1/2). In the menu and when choosing, move with the navigation key s up / down (6).

Charging the battery:

Before putting your phone into service you must recharge its battery for 100%.

1. Connect the micro-USB connector to the phone, make sure the connector is rotated by the correct side (13). Do not use the force when connecting.
2. Connect the charger to the wall outlet.
3. When the battery is fully charged, remove the phone from the connector and charger from the wall outlet.

Note: The phone can be charged switched on, or switched off.

Switching the phone on / off / sleep mode:

Make sure that the phone has a SIM card and the battery is fully charged.

- Press and hold the On / Off key (4) to switch on the phone. The same way you will also switch off the phone.

- To switch the phone into the sleep mode, please press the key with the star symbol (7) and then the right soft key (2).

- To re-activate the phone again, press the Left soft key (1) and then the key with the star symbol (7).

Safety Precautions:

- Do not use your phone while driving.

- Do not use your phone at the petrol stations.

- Hold the phone at least 15 mm from your ear and body.

- The phone produces a bright or flashing light.

- The small parts of the phone can cause suffocation.

- Do not expose your phone to open fire.

- The phone can produce a loud sound.

- The phone is not resistant to fillings.

- Avoid exposure to magnetic fields.

• On request, turn off your phone in hospitals and other medical facilities.
• Keep the phone dry.

• Use the phone only with certified equipment.
• Do not reckon only upon your phone during emergency situations.
• The phone may contain a label that detects moisture. In case of moisture inside phone/PCB this label becomes red. The manuf acturer has a right to reject a warranty with such a damaged phone.
• In the event of any changes in the dimensions of the battery, discontinue use until pending replacing the battery with a new one.

iGET DEFENDER D10 has IP68 certification based on 60529 / EU standard. IP68 protection does not guarantee 100% water resistance under any conditions! (According to the manuf acturer 1.5m deep f or 30 minutes.)

Attention! Does not apply to seawater!

Your phone has increased resiliency. However, it is not mechanically indestructible. After contact with water or other liquid, we recommend that you let the phone dry. The warranty does not apply to intentional damage to the phone. Make sure that the holes for the power adapter and the headphones (12) are closed. In case of moisture penetration into the device due to insufficient "closing" of the phone, the warranty can not be accepted.

Damages requiring professional repair:

If such cases may occur, please, contact the authorized service or your distributor:

• Moisture got into the phone.
• The phone is mechanically damaged.
• The phone is extremely overheated.

For household use: The given symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) on the product or at accompanying documents means that used electrical and electronic products should not disposed of with household waste. To ensure proper disposal of the product, hand it over to a designated collection point, where it will be accepted free of charge. The correct disposal of this product will help to save valuable natural resources and prevent any potential negative impacts on the environment and human health,

Set up the claim for warranty repair of device at your dealer. If you have technical questions or problems, contact your dealer. Follow the rules for working with electrical equipment. The user may not dismantle the device or replace any part of this. There is a warranty seal inside the phone to verify that the phone does not carry signs of improper intrusion. Opening or removing the covers poses the risk of electric shock. In case of incorrect reassembly and subsequent connection you are also exposed to electric shock.

Information for Customers about Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Warranty shall apply to defects of purchased product, found during its warranty period. When purchasing a particular product, please consider carefully what properties and functions you expect your product to have. The fact that purchased product shall not satisfy your later requirements shall not give any reason for complaint. Please, prior to the first use of this product read carefully its operating instructions and follow these instructions consistently. We recommend you to keep original product packing during the warrant y period for possible transport of the product in such a way so as to prevent any product

damage during its transport and handling.

For the purpose of due application of any complaint about the product we recommend you to ask Seller to fill-in and confirm this Warranty Card including identification of serial number of purchased product, which shall comply with the serial number specified both in the document proving product purchase and delivery note and purchased product. In this connection Customer hereby takes into account that unless this Warranty Card specifies serial number of purchased product, i.e., comparison of such serial number identified in the product with the serial number identified in this Warranty Card and document of product purchase/or delivery note shall not allow to confirm that particular product has come from Seller, in case of any doubts about the origin of such particular product Seller shall be entitled to automatically and without any other acts to reject the complaint of such goods.

W arranty shall not apply to:

product damage suffered by unqualified installation of firmware or its modification;

product damage by static electricity;

product use for any other purposes than designed, described in attached operating instructions;

damage to warranty seal of the producer, attached to the product;

product damage inconsistent with the operating instructions, technical standards or safety regulations valid in the Czech Republic;

product damage resulting from normal wear and tear;

discharged batteries, decrease in battery capacity caused by its wear and tear;

product defects caused by the use in dusty, polluted or in any other way dissatisfactory environment pursuant to attached operating instructions.

WARRANTY CARD

Wear and tear of the product and its components caused by their common use (discharged batteries, decreased capacity of accumulator, wear and tear of mechanical or displaying components, wear and tear of supply cables, headphones etc.) shall be subject neither to defect warranty nor quality warranty in the moment of take-over.

Furthermore, complaints about product parameters, not included in the operating instructions or in any commercial-technical documentation of Seller, related to the product, shall not be subject to quality warranty in the moment of take-over.

In the event of any changes in the dimensions of the battery, discontinue use, and until there is a change the battery with a new one.

Proof of product purchase, or delivery note, shall constitute an integral part of this Warranty Card.
