Preparation for use

• Remove all packaging and clean the pot (D), forks (A) and splatter guard (B) with a soft damp cloth.
• Place the appliance on a level and stable surface.
• Check that the voltage marked on the product corresponds with your supply voltage. Ensure the temperature control knob (E) is in the "MIN" position before plug in.
• When using the appliance for the first time, there may be a smell of smoke coming from the surface of the heating element. This is normal. It is caused by the oily protective coating applied during production.

Operation

WARNING!

• Risk of burning! DO NOT HEAT AN EMPTY POT! There must be water, liquid or oil in the pot when heating.

• Do not move the appliance when using it.

• Put the water, liquid or oil directly into the pot (D), and then place the pot on the base (F).

NOTE:

Make sure the content in the pot is above the "MIN" level and does not exceed the "MAX" level marked inside the pot.

Warning: The stainless steel pot (D) is only suitable for this product 10009615. Do not use it on other product or stoves.

1. Place the splatter guard (B) onto the pot (D).
2. Connect the fondue base (F) to the power supply. The light of the temperature control knob (E) turns on in blue.
3. Turn the temperature control knob (E) from "MIN" to "MAX" position. When heating up, the light of the control knob (E) will be in red, and will change to blue when the set temperature is reached.
4. Skewer the food and place the forks carefully into the pot (D) to avoid splashes. Rest the fondue forks (A) in the slots of the splatter guard (B) and wait until the food is cooked.

B Product usage

NOTE:

Depending on the amount of food to be cooked, the content in the pot (D) might start boiling. If this happens, reduce the temperature by turning the control knob (E) towards "MIN" position.

1. When you have finished using the fondue set, turn the knob (E) to "MIN" position and unplug it from the power supply. Wait until the appliance is completely cool down before moving or cleaning.

Do not clean the set when it is still hot. Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.

WARNING!

Do not put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.

• DO NOT USE solvents, abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, scratchy materials, alcohol, petrol nor any organic cleaner.
• Never immerse the base (F) into water or any other liquid.
• Clean the pot (D), forks (A) and splatter guard (B) with soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. If necessary, let it soak in warm soapy water. Never use abrasive cleaning pads or scrapers as they might damage your appliance.
• Allow the fondue set to air dry after cleaning.

Storage

• Always unplug the unit from power supply before storing it.
• Store the unit in a fresh, dry and dust-free place, out of the reach of children and pets.
• Please retain the packaging and use it to store your unit if it will not be used for an extended period of time.
