B Product usage

Before use

• Clean the cooking plate with a sponge or cloth. Place your appliance on a level and stable surface.
• Pre-heat the appliance for a few minutes without any food to remove the protective coating. Small smoke emission is normal. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated.
• Lightly coat the plate with a little cooking oil.

Using your appliance

1. Connect the power plug to a mains supply. The red Power Indicator Light will turn on.
2. Turn the Temperature Control Knob clockwise to the desired temperature settings - WARM, MED or HI. The green Heating Indicator Light turns on indicating the unit is heating up. When the green Heating Indicator Light turns off, the desired cooking temperature is reached and the Crepe maker is ready to use.

NOTE:

• The green Heating Indicator Light indicates the Crepe maker is heating. This light will remain ON until the set temperature has been reached and then will cycle ON and OFF throughout cooking. This will ensure that the Crepe maker always maintains the selected temperature. The preheat time will depend on the temperature setting selected. If a high temperature setting is selected, a longer preheating time is required.
• When cooking or making crepes on a high temperature setting, be careful that the crepe might burn. If the temperature is too high, turn the Temperature Control Knob anti-clockwise to reduce the temperature. Adequate ventilation is recommended.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Do not immerse the appliance in water.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains supply and wait for it to completely cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the base.
• Wipe the cooking plate with a sponge or cloth.
• Never use an abrasive cleaner to clean the cooking plate; otherwise the non-stick coating would be easily damaged.
• Clean the appliance every time after use.

Storage

• Always unplug the unit before storing, and make sure that it is completely cool and dry.
• Store the device in a cool, dry and clean place, out of the reach of children and pets.
• Please save the packaging for storing your device when not in use for a longer period of time.
