SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The Luvion® FLEX-i Foldable Car Seat is designed for car use only.
- Before purchase, ensure compatibility with your vehicle.
- After purchase, install the seat according to the manual. If you experience installation issues, contact our customer service before use.
• This car seat is suitable for children of 100-150 cm.
INSTALLATION AND USAGE
- Ensure the Child Restraint System (CRS) is fully installed and correctly secured. All rigid parts and plastic components should be positioned to avoid interference with moving vehicle seats or doors.
• We recommend to always install the child car seat on the rear seats of the vehicle. This is the safest place for your child. - If you must install the child seat on the front passenger seat, place the passenger seat in its rearmost position and preferably deactivate the airbag.
- The child car seat can be installed using the ISOFIX system together with the vehicle's seatbelt, or with the seatbelt only. For maximum safety, we strongly recommend using ISOFIX whenever possible.
- This child seat can only be installed forward facing using a three-point lap and diagonal seat belt.
- Always ensure that the straps securing the seat to the vehicle are tight, the straps restraining the child are properly adjusted to their body, and that none of the straps are twisted.
-
It is important to ensure that any lap straps are worn low across the hips so the pelvis is firmly secured.
-
If the vehicle's headrest obstructs proper adjustment of the child seat's headrest, remove it.
• Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the proper child height. - Do not use the child seat in the home. It was not designed for home use and may only be used in your car.
- Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be properly secured.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Replace the car seat immediately if it has been involved in an accident, even if no visible damage is present.
- Making any alterations or additions to the device without approval from the relevant authority is dangerous, as is failing to follow the installation instructions provided by the child seat manufacturer.
- Never leave children unattended in the car seat.
- Do not place heavy objects on the seat or near the child.
- Keep the car seat free from corrosion.
- Keep the seat out of direct sunlight if it does not have a fabric cover, as it may become too hot and could burn the child's skin.
- In the event of an emergency it is important that the child can be released quickly. This means that the buckle is not fully tamper proof and so your child must be taught never to play with the buckle.
- The seat covers can be removed for washing, but the child seat must not be used without the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced by any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the seat performance.
- Ensure the adult seat belt buckle aligns correctly with the seat's guides. If unsure, contact the manufacturer.
• Always keep the car seat securely fastened, even when not in use, to prevent it from moving in a collision. - Periodically inspect the seat for wear, paying particular attention to attachment points, stitching and adjusting devices.
- For i-Size models, always check the vehicle manufacturer's manual for additional guidelines.
- Retain the instruction manual throughout the car seat's lifetime.
• The illustrations in this manual are for reference only and may differ slightly from your model. - Store this child seat in a safe place when it is not being used.
REQUIRED VEHICLE SEAT TYPE

CAR SEAT INSTALLATION
PREPARE ISOFIX (OPTIONAL)
- Locate the ISOFIX anchorages between the backrest and the seat cushion of the vehicle.
- If your car is not equipped with the ISOFIX guide anchorage, insert the included guide anchorage (02) into the ISOFIX anchorage (01).
- Now, prepare the seat ISOFIX connectors. Press the security button (3A) and the ISOFIX release button (3B), push them together backwards to the last position.
- Place the child seat on the vehicle seat facing the front of the vehicle in the direction of travel.
- Now, insert the ISOFIX connectors into the ISOFIX anchorages (04) until a click is heard and the indicators are completely green (05).
CAUTION! The ISOFIX connectors are only attached when the two indicators are completely green.
- Push the seat back until it engages with the vehicle backseat, then try to remove the seat and check that it cannot be removed.

The ISOFIX connector is an optional installation method. For maximum safety, we strongly recommend using ISOFIX whenever possible. If you prefer not to use it, you may retract the ISOFIX connectors and then place the child car seat on the vehicle seat facing the front of the vehicle in the direction of travel. Now, safely continue with the remaining installation steps.
ADJUST HEADREST
- Place your hand in the groove of the handle (06) and pull upwards to adjust the headrest to the correct height. Adjust to the appropriate position of the child according to the height.
- There should be a gap of approximately two finger-widths between the child's shoulders and the lower edge of the headrest. The headrest is in the correct position when the diagonal belt guide (07) of the seat sits on the child's shoulders.
