2. Safety instructions for the user
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
General precautions during the use of electrical equipment
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- This product is designed for indoor domestic, non-industrial and non-commercial use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems with the appliance and may cause injury to the user.
- The unit must only be used for its intended purpose. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from improper use or incorrect handling.
- Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
- It is necessary to supervise when any electrical appliance is being used by or near children.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down.
- The device is not completely disconnected from the power supply, even after it has been switched off. To disconnect it completely, unplug it from the mains socket.
- The appliances are not designed to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury
- Do not leave the appliance unattended.
- Do not place or use this appliance near water sources.
- Do not place or use the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., hotplates) or open flames.
- Do not leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames. Do not coil the cord around the appliance or bend it.
- Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands, on wet floors or when the environment is damp, there is a risk of electric shock.
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug in water or any other liquid. Should the appliance fall into water, disconnect it immediately from the mains and take it to an authorised service centre for repair before using it again.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if it shows visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- In case of malfunction or damage in any way, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- To avoid overloading the circuit when using this product, do not operate another high-voltage product on the same electrical circuit.
- It is not recommended to use an extension cord with this product, but if an extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cable must be at least as good as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang down where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

Restrictions for use with children and the elderly
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision. Children must not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

Instructions to be followed when using the device
- Never use this unit near a bathtub, shower, wash hand basins, or other containers with water.
- Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil: THERE IS A DANGER OF SUFFOCATION!
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
- Never wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum dust that is harmful to health.
- Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- This device, designed for home use, complies with standards relating to this type of product.
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- Make sure to unplug the appliance before emptying trash cans or cleaning accessories.
- It may cause fire and injury to persons if the cleaner vacuums the following items:
- Large sharp shards - broken glass pieces.
- Liquids: hazardous articles (solvents, corrosives), acid agents, cleaners, and water.
- Flammable and explosive goods: gasoline and alcohol products.
- Construction and cement waste.
- Please keep the air outlet of the appliance away from hair, loose clothing, fingers, or other body parts. Do not point the suction tube, extension handles, or other tools at the eyes, ears, or put them in the mouth.
- If large pieces of paper, paper balls, plastic sheets, or sharp objects are found, and anything thicker than a straw, please remove them in advance to prevent the suction tube from being blocked and affecting the use of the product.
- Please stop using it at once if electric leakage, high motor temperature, or abnormal sounds are found. For example, high temperature in a machine body part, abnormal sound and smell, or weak suction.
- Please check the dust container regularly and clean it in time.
- Keep the air outlet unblocked to avoid loss of suction power, motor heating that may lead to the reduction of vacuum cleaner service life.
- Please check the aluminium alloy tube regularly in order to prevent the blockage, if there is a blockage, please clean it up in time to avoid the reduction of suction and affect the performance of appliance.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Keep end of hose, wand and other openings away from your face and body.
- This appliance is intended to pick up the cold ash from fire places, chimneys, ovens, ashtrays, and similar places of ash accumulation.
- Do not pick up hot, glowing or burning ash. Pick up cold ash only;
- Dust container must be emptied and cleaned before each and every single use;
- Do not use paper dust bags or bags made from similar flammable materials;
- Do not use any other vacuum cleaner to vacuum ash;
- Do not rest the ash vacuum cleaner on flammable or polymeric surfaces, including carpeting and vinyl tile.
- Do not use for the separation of health-hazardous dusts (dust classes M)
- Do not vacuum soot
- Vacuum only ashes from admissible fuels.
- Do not vacuum any hot, burning, or glowing objects.
- Do not vacuum any objects that are hotter than 40 °C.
- Do not vacuum any flammable substances.
Warning: Risk of Fire.
When using the appliance to vacuum fireplace ash, no ashes with a temperature more than 40 °C shall be vacuumed. No ashes or other objects in which the fire is not completely extinguished shall be vacuumed.
Do not use the appliance if the filter is not installed! Do not use filters other than the ones (fire prevention filter) attached to the appliance by the manufacturer.
For cold ash only. “Cold Ash” is ash cooled down for a sufficient time without any pockets of embers inside. This can be confirmed by scouring the ash for pockets of embers using metal tools before using the ash vacuum cleaner. Cold ash does not emit any recognizable heat.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Parts function:
• Aluminum pipe: Used to vacuum ash in the fireplace • Power switch: Control the appliance to work or stop working
Vacuum cleaner assembly
• Take out the appliance and accessories from the packing box, check the accessories and whether the appliance enclosure is well-found or not. - Loose the clasp, and take the head part from the container. - Attach the filter set to the bottom of head part. - Place the head part on the container and use the clasp to make it fixed. - Insert the aluminium pipe into the soft tube, and another end of soft tube is inserted into air inlet.

• As shown in the picture, insert part(1) into the air outlet (4) and tighten it to the left. - Place aluminium tube (3) into (2)

Vacuum ash
• Only use the fire prevention filter. - When the container is full or it feels difficult to vacuum more dust, the filter needs to be taken out and cleaned. - While vacuuming the fireplace ash, the ash temperature must be below 40°C. Do not vacuum the ash until the fire is extinguished!
After usage
- Press the switch to switch off the vacuum cleaner.
- Pull out the plug. • Roll up the power cable. • Disassemble the soft tube from the appliance. • Take the head part from the appliance. • Empty the dust container and wash it. • Use a rag to dry the container. • Take out the filter, clean and wash it carefully, and dry it in air before installing it on the vacuum cleaner.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: When the drum container is full or in any case very thin materials or dust are present, you will notice a decrease in suction power. When this happens, it is necessary to clean the drum container and the filter.
Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, the unit must be turned off and the plug must be disconnected from the power socket.
A. How to clean the drum container
- Loosen the fixing clips located on the metal drum and remove the head.
- Remove the HEPA filter and eliminate the dust inside the suction container. If necessary, rinse it and allow it to air dry before use.
- Replace the HEPA filter on the engine support and fix the clips.
B. How to clean the filter
- Remove the HEPA filter from the engine mount.
- Clean it with tap water. In case, use a brush to facilitate cleaning. Do not apply a strong jet of water; it could damage the filter.
- Let it dry completely before usage.

- As shown in the figure, insert part (1) into the air outlet (4) and screw it to the left. • Attach the aluminum hose (3) to (2)

Vacuum ash
- Use only the fire prevention filter.
- When the container is full or when vacuuming ash is difficult, the filter must be removed and cleaned.
- When vacuuming ash from the fireplace, the temperature of the ash must be below 40 °C. Do not vacuum ash until the fire has gone out!
After use
- Press the switch to turn off the vacuum cleaner.
- Unplug the plug. • Wind up the power cord.
- Remove the flexible hose from the device.
- Remove the head from the device.
- Empty the dust container and wash it.
- Dry the container with a cloth.
- Pull out the filter, carefully clean and wash it, and let it air dry before placing it back on the vacuum cleaner.

Assembling the vacuum cleaner
- Remove the device and accessories from the packaging box, check the accessories and ensure the device housing is securely attached.
- Release the latch and remove the head from the container.
- Attach the filter set to the bottom of the head.
- Place the head on the container and secure it with the latch.
- Insert the aluminum tube into the flexible hose, and insert the other end of the flexible hose into the air inlet.
