1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.38. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs must be carried out exclusively by an authorized service center. An authorized service center is the manufacturer's after-sales service provider authorized to perform repairs and fix any kind of faults. In case of problems, please return the device to this center.
1.39. If smoke or fire is observed, immediately unplug the device from the power source.
1.40. Do not place or insert any objects into the openings of the device that are not intended for that purpose.
1.41. Ensure that no objects or liquids enter the openings of the device that are not meant for such use.
1.42. Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
1.43. Before cleaning the device, allow it to cool down completely.
1.44. None of the device's components are dishwasher-safe unless otherwise specified.

2. QUICK START

WARNING!

Before performing the actions described in this section, please make sure to read Section 1. Safety Instructions to avoid damage to the device and/or injury. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from improper use of the device contrary to the instructions.

Place the device on a flat table or countertop, at least 10 - 15cm away from walls, edges, and other objects. Ensure that none of its components are damaged. Install the heating plates into the device, then plug the device into a grounded power outlet. Select a program on the control panel and wait for the device to heat up. Then place the selected food inside and close the lid. Monitor the level of grilling. Once the food reaches the desired doneness, remove it from the device.

Note: The food will be hot after removal from the device—do not touch it with bare hands. Wait for it to cool down or handle it using kitchen utensils or protective gloves.

After use, unplug the grill from the power source (grounded socket), allow it to cool down completely, and clean it according to the procedure described in Section 5. Cleaning and Maintenance.

3. OPERATION AND USE OF THE DEVICE

3.1.Before First Use

Do not open the packaging without due care and attention. Avoid using sharp knives or pointed objects, as they may damage the device. Remove all components and the user manual from the box, discard the protective films, and check whether all contents are included and undamaged. If any irregularities are noticed, do not use the damaged parts and contact the service center at the address provided in the Warranty Card.

Note: Before first use, please follow the steps below:

  • Remove all packaging and protective materials from the grill and either keep them or dispose of them safely in accordance with local recycling regulations. Plastic packaging materials should be kept out of reach of children.
  • Fully unwind the power cord and check for any damage. Do not use the device if it or the power cord is damaged or not functioning properly. In case of damage, contact Customer Service for inspection, repair, or replacement instructions.
  • Keep the user manual and proof of purchase for future reference.
  • Before first use, clean the grill according to the instructions in Section 5. Cleaning and Maintenance.
  • As with all appliances that have electric heating elements, the Kohersen Black Matt NX Ceramic Smart grill may emit a "distinct" odor during the first use. This is a normal occurrence and is not a cause for concern.

3.2. Operating the Device

  • Insert the lower and upper heating plates into the device.
  • Close the lid using the handle.
  • Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
    The device will emit a sound signal, and all buttons on the control panel will light up.
  • Select the desired program on the control panel. The LED around the selected program button will light up white, and the "START / STOP" button will light up red.

3.4. Using the Manual Mode

  • Use the + / - buttons to set the grilling time within a range of 00:10 to 90:00 minutes, adjustable in 00:10-minute increments.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the grill from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.

Never immerse the device or its power cord in water or any other liquid, and never rinse it with water or cleaning agents!

5.1. Cleaning the Device

  • Before cleaning, unplug the device from the power outlet and allow all components to cool down completely.
  • Use a damp, soft cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the device. Ensure that no moisture enters the ventilation openings.
  • To prevent damage to the surface, do not use scouring pads, steel wool, brushes, solvents, or aggressive chemical or alkaline cleaners, including metal polishes.

5.2. Cleaning the Heating Plates

  • The NX Ceramic-coated heating plates are dishwasher safe.
  • To ensure maximum lifespan of the NX Ceramic coating, it is recommended to wash the heating plates by hand using a damp, soft cloth with a small amount of detergent. Then rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
