Thank you for using Kohersen multifunction cooking machine. For the proper use and maintenance of this product, we have created this manual, please carefully read this manual before using the product, and retain it for future reference.
This instruction only applies to Kohersen multifunction cooking machine. DLF Ltd reserves the final interpretation. All the contents of the book are only for a users' reference to use and maintenance of the machine, and unaccomplished matters. All the customers are welcomed to the company's customer service department.
Safety Precaution
The Kohersen multifunction cooking Machine ZT100 is suitable for use at the home or similar dining occasion. The machine meets the latest safety standard. To be safe, before using the Kohersen multifunction Cooking Machine ZT10, please read this instruction book in detail and pay special attention to the following points.
The Kohersen multifunction cooking Machine ZT100 is not intended for use by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are provided with supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
To prevent electric shock.
- Please remove the power plug from the socket before cleaning or extended periods of non-use for the Kohersen multifunction cooking Machine ZT100.
- Please do not immerse the mainframe of the cooking Machine into the water or any other liquid, also do not use excessive water or any other liquid to wash the mainframe. You should only wipe the mainframe with a damp cloth. Do not allow water or debris into the mainframe.
- Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids (such as gasoline or acetone) to clean the machine.
- Periodically inspect the cord and plug for damage. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner, discontinue use. Contact Customer Service for assistance in obtaining a replacement. Do not disassemble and repair the machine in order to avoid danger.
- Periodically inspect if your Kohersen Cooking Machine multifunction ZT100, including the mainframe, mixing bowl and other major parts have been damaged. The damaged parts may lower the security during operating the machine. If any unusual operating situations are found, please immediately stop using the multifunction cook food Cooking Machine ZT100 and bring the machine to Customer Service Centre or hand to service agency which is authorised by the DLF Ltd company.
To prevent any danger which may cause by the mixing blades set.
- Avoid touching the mixing blade set which is a very sharp blade. When assembling and dismantling the mixing blade set, please hold the mixing blade set upper handle and slowly screw and unscrew. Please be very careful during the operation.
- During the cooking operation of the food Cooking Machine ZT100, please do not reach into the bowl of the cooker mouth.
The risk of scalding caused by spilt food.
- The food added to the bowl should not exceed the maximum capacity of 2.3L. Please pay attention to the bowl markings showing the maximum amount of ingredients tick mark.
- When processing hot food (with temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius), especially for hot food which has been processed in the food Cooking Machine ZT100, make sure that the hot food does not touch the underside of the measuring cup, on the bowl lid. Also, please make sure the measuring cup is securely positioned in the hole of mixing bowl lid when suddenly increasing to a higher speed (7-10).
- Please pay more attention to the hot food splashing out from the hole of mixing bowl lid when opening the mixing bowl lid. Especially when heating food at a speed of 3-6 or high speed of 7-10, please also make sure the measuring cup is in the hole of mixing bowl lid.
- Do not use the steam function for cooking a large amount of food.
- When using the steam function, you can only use the low-speed setting (1). You should not use the high-speed setting with the steam function as it may cause spillage of hot food or liquid.
- Please put the food Cooking Machine ZT100 on a clean, stable, flat platform and do not allow placing on a hot surface. Special attention needs to be paid when using the steamer.
- Please carefully remove the mixing bowl to avoid any leakage, especially when there is food in the bowl.
To prevent scalding which may be caused by steaming or steam vapour.
- Ensure the steamer is placed on the top of the Cooking Machine in a proper way.
- Please note when operating the machine, the steam vapour can cover the top or side of the overflow from the steamer.
- Please note the hot steam when lifting the lid, customers should avoid steam which is generated from the middle of the vent even though the vapour is small.
- Never use the steamer when the cover is not put on the steamer.
- When opening the steamer lid, please take care to avoid the spilt vapour and droplets. Please pay attention when the lid is removed from the steamer, note that when using the cooking setting, be careful the steaming which will be generated from the skillet when removing the steamer.
- When using the steamer, do not allow children to get close to, and warn them that they might be in danger of being spilt by steam and the steaming condensate.
- Do not put too many ingredients into the steamer. The amount of food cannot exceed the top of the steamer. Make sure to maintain a certain distance between the ingredients and cooking bowl holes. If the cooking bowl holes are blocked with ingredients, at the same time the heat keeps accumulating, this will result in pressure in the cooker and may cause the heated ingredients to overflow. In this case, there is a risk of causing burns and injuries.
- Make sure to keep steaming plate and the steamer connect smoothly, otherwise, it may cause an overflow of steam vapour.
- Please be careful as without taking proper precautions there is a possibility of steam burns caused by incorrect use of the food Cooking Machine ZT100.
Injury can be caused by hot assembly parts.
- Please store the Cooking Machine out of the reach of small children and warn children that the mixing bowl and steamer are hot, and not to touch.
The risk of frozen food spillage.
- Please use the Cooking Machine ZT100 at a medium speed (3-6), high speed (7-10) or preset program for a smoothie or to chop or mince frozen food.
The risk of getting an injury from scalding food.
- When heating food, and the temperature exceeds 60^ , do not touch the measuring cup or operate the smoothie function.
The risk of sharp edges.
- The display screen of the Cooking Machine ZT100 is made of transparent organic resin material, and if excessive force is used, it may crack.
The danger caused by improper use.
- Do not directly heat the empty pan.
- Never pull hard of the cover pan silicone tube in order to avoid tearing.
DANGER from foreign matter and unapproved equipment.
- This machine can only be used with the original accessories provided by the Kohersen.
- Do not attempt to cook food with the Cooking Machine using any parts other than those provided by Kohersen.
- The user can only use the mixing bowl lid to cover the mixing bowl.
- The measuring cup of Kohersen cooking machine ZT100 is the only spare part which can be used to close the hole of mixing bowl lid.
- Do not cover mixing bowl with a cloth or other objects.
- The Kohersen cooking machine ZT100 can only be used safely with the provided spatula to stir food. Do not, for example, use any other spoon, spatula, or mix with chopsticks.
Avoid damage
The Kohersen cooking machine ZT100 might move under operation.
- Please place your Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 in a clean, stable, flat table that does not get hot so that the Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 will not side and keep a safe distance from the edge of a table in order to avoid the machine dropping. The Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 can possibly move because of the movement of the saucepan when kneading dough, grinding or cutting food. Therefore, care should be taken to avoid the machine falling in the process of its operation. Please use the Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 under strict supervision.
The risk of damage
- The risk of damage caused by hot steam: please pay attention and keep a proper distance away from kitchen cabinets or shelves that can be damaged by hot steam.
- The risk of damage from the external heat: please keep a proper distance from external heat sources such as radiators, electric heating plate, oven, gas stove etc. Please do not place the Kohersen cooking machine ZT100 or plug-in electric wires on any Electric heating plate, induction cooker, oven, because the Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 will sustain damage. Please do not place the Kohersen cooking machine ZT100 on a hot surface.
- Damage risk caused by food leakage: Remember you can only stir the food when the blade assembly is fully locked in position. When the seal ring on the blade assembly is not installed or incorrectly locked, it will cause agitation when cooking the food leading to food leakage or even damage to the machine. Ensure that the mixing blade set is correctly and securely locked above the bottom of the pan.
- The Kohersen Cooking Machine ZT100 overheating damage risk: Make sure that the food Cooking Machine ZT100's rear and bottom vents are always free from grease or food debris, as it may lead to damage due to overheating through duress.
- Improper use of the power supply: Kohersen Cooking Machine (ZT100): Use only the AC mains. If unsure about the power settings, please consult a qualified electrician. The supply voltage and frequency must conform to the data (labelled ZT100 food cooking on the bottom of the machine)
- Risk of corrosion damage: metal parts, after cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher, make sure to keep the metallic parts fully dry.
