1. ABOUT THIS MANUAL

This instruction manual is to be considered part of the device. Before using the device, please read the safety instructions and the user manual carefully.

Keep this user manual for future reference. If the device is sold or passed on, the instruction manual must be provided to the new owner/user of the product. The device is intended for indoor use only!

2. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• RISK OF CHOKING! Keep packaging material, like plastic bags and rubber bands, out of the reach of children, as these materials pose a choking hazard.
• RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! This device contains electronic components that operate via a power source (batteries). Children should only use the device under adult supervision. Only use the device as described in the manual; otherwise, you run the risk of an electric shock.
• RISK OF CHEMICAL BURN! Leaking battery acid can lead to chemical burns. Avoid contact of battery acid with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact, rinse the affected region immediately with a plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• RISK OF FIRE/EXPLOSION! Use only the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries, or throw them into a fire. Excessive heat or improper handling could trigger a short-circuit, a fire or an explosion.

NOTE! Do not disassemble the device. In the event of a defect, please contact your dealer. The dealer will contact the Service Centre and can send the device in to be repaired, if necessary.

• Do not immerse the unit in water.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, extreme temperature or high humidity, which may result in malfunction, shorter electronic life span, damaged batteries and distorted parts.

• Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from different brands or with different capacities. Remove the batteries from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.

• The manufacturer is not liable for damage related to improperly installed batteries!

6. START-UP/POWER SUPPLY

1. Remove the cover from the battery compartment (5).
2. Insert a 1.5V AA/LR6 battery into the battery compartment (5). Pay attention to the correct polar direction (+ / -) of the battery as indicated inside the battery compartment.

7. SETTING THE TIME

1. After inserting the battery, the movement works (hands move).
2. Turn the setting wheel (6) to set the correct time.
3. Put the cover back on the battery compartment.

8. HUMIDITY INDICATOR

The humidity indicator displays the following conditions:

WET Wet. Indoor humidity between 66% and 100%	Ventilation recommended.
COMFORT Comfortable. Indoor humidity between 36% and 65%	-/-
DRY Dry. Indoor humidity between 0% and 35%	Air humidification recommended.

Important: Windows should be opened wide for a short time (a few minutes) for effective ventilation. If possible, open windows on opposite sides of the apartment (full ventilation).

9. MOUNTING/POSITIONING OF THE CLOCK

There are 2 ways to mount this clock on the wall or on a flat surface:

Positioning on a table:

• We recommend that you remove the suction cups (turn and pull out) if you want to use the clock with the table stand, as the suction cups could otherwise become deformed.
• Put the pins of the stand (4) into the holes in the housing's backside. Position the clock on a flat surface (e.g. bathroom cabinet).

Wall mount:

• Slightly moisten the suction cups (3) and press the clock with the suction cups against a flat wall surface.

Caution: Always make sure to mount or stand the clock securely. Dropping the unit may cause serious damage, for which the manufacturer takes no responsibility! The suction cups must be placed on a perfectly flat, clean and dry surface. Moisture favours slipping!

10. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning (remove batteries)!

Clean the device externally with a dry cloth only. Do not use cleaning fluid to avoid damaging the electronics. Protect the device from dust and moisture. The batteries should be removed from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.

12. DISPOSAL

Dispose of packaging materials sorted by type. Please note the current legal regulations regarding the disposal of the device. Information on proper disposal can be obtained from

municipal waste disposal services or the environmental agency. Do not dispose of electronic devices with household waste!

According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation into national law, used electronic devices must be collected

separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Empty old batteries must be disposed of by consumers at battery collection points. Further information on the disposal of devices or batteries produced after 6 January 2006 can be obtained from municipal waste disposal services or the environmental agency.

In accordance with the regulations concerning batteries and rechargeable batteries, disposing of them in the normal

household waste is explicitly forbidden. Please make sure to dispose of your used batteries as required by law — at a local collection point or in the retail market. Disposal in domestic waste violates the Battery Directive.

Batteries that contain toxins are marked with a sign and a chemical symbol. "Cd" = cadmium, "Hg" = mercury, "Pb" = lead. Fully discharge the battery before disposal.

13. WARRANTY
