Warranty conditions

As of 1 January 2016, SENYA guarantees the proper functioning of its products for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty of any purchase made before that date is valid for 1 year. This warranty only applies to products used for domestic purposes. Any other use in the context of professional use by a natural or legal person excludes any application of the warranty. This product is guaranteed against any failure resulting from faulty workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper installation, incorrect use or normal wear and tear of the product.

Availability of spare parts

Senya has spare parts for its products for a 2-year period. You can find accessories and spare parts for your Senya products sold by our partner Cdiscount. If your accessory or spare part is not available, please contact our after-sales service at [e-mail].

All our Senya products are developed with great care to meet all European legislation. Our partner laboratories strictly control each production to ensure that our products comply with the requirements for electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, limitation of use of certain hazardous substances and food contact for food-related products. All our products are therefore compliant with the current regulations on Bisphenol A (BPA).

I. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Inspect the appliance for visible signs of damage before use. Do not use a damaged device.
2. This appliance is intended for private and non-commercial use. Any use other than previously stated is considered as improper use. No claims of any kind will be accepted for damage resulting from use of the appliance for other than its intended purpose. The risk must be borne solely by the user.
3. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
4. staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
5. farm houses
6. by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;;
7. bed and breakfast - type environments.
8. Do not use the product for other unintended uses

10. Make sure that the network voltage corresponds to 220-240V.

11. Place the product on a stable surface. Do not slot it in.

12. Always connect the appliance to an accessible power outlet.
13. When unplugging the power cord, always pull it at the plug; do not pull on the cord.
14. Do not run the appliance with an empty jug.
15. Do not use the appliance without the motor clipped in place.
16. Do not move the appliance whilst in use.
17. Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation around the appliance when it's in use.
18. The jug body becomes hot during use, always use the handle provided. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
19. Do not use the appliance :

- if the plug or the power cord are damaged

- if the appliance is in anyway damaged

- if it fell down

1. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or the work surface and make sure it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.

2. Do not place and do not use this product near by any heat source (hob, heating, etc.).

3. Avoid wrapping the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

4. Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.
5. Never immerse the appliance, its power cord or its plug in water or any other liquid.
6. Do not handle the cord or appliance with wet hands.
7. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
8. This appliance is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
9. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
10. If the product is damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer or by a third person with similar qualification, in order to avoid all risks. This particularly applies to replacing a damaged connection cable.
    Unqualified repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

12. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children when it is plugged in or cooling.

13. When mixing hot liquids, take care to avoid splashing any hot liquid that could cause burns.

14. Always leave the appliance to cool down before cleaning.

15. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

18. It is essential to keep this appliance clean since it is in direct contact with food.

19. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces (notably in contact with food), thanks to refer to the paragraph “advice for care & storage” in this manual.

21. Great care must be taken when handling the blades when emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

22. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning

27. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

WATCH OUT! BLADES ARE SHARP. HANDLE THEM WITH CARE!

- If the blades are blocked when mixing, always unplug the appliance before removing the food responsible for blocking.

III. USE OF THE PRODUCT

III.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Wipe the unit body with a soft, dry cloth and wash the blades with hot water and washing up liquid.
• Rinse with clean water and dry carefully with a soft cloth.
• Place the product on a stable and clean surface

Tips for using the appliance :

• The total quantity of ingredients and liquid must not go above the maximum limit (cold preparation 1.6 L, hot preparation 1.4 L). Any spillages may result in burns.
• Ensure all ingredients are peeled, sliced or cubed (2-3cm)
• Always stir your ingredients before adding the motor, this prevents ingredients sticking to the bottom of your soup maker. Always remove the soup when the cycle is finished because the blender will still be hot and may burn your soup.
• If the control panel does not light up or if the blender does not start after it is switched on, check that the bowl and motor are properly positioned.
• Do not heat/blend with the appliance empty.
• Some operations cannot be performed properly with this blender: béchamel sauce, mayonnaise.

• The appliance may be stopped during the cooking process by pressing the start / cancel button.

• You can pour a drizzle of oil into the bowl to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom.

• If a buzzer sounds, unplug the soup maker and check the overflow sensor below the cover. Clean it, reduce the contents inside the bowl before trying again.

III.2 USING THE APPLIANCE

This device is recommended for the following: smooth soup, chunky soup, smoothie, milkshake, fruit purée, fruit cocktail.

1. Ensure the soup maker is not connected to the power outlet
2. Chop all the ingredients into 2-3 cm chunks and place them in the bowl
3. Finally, add cold water/liquids (according to what is being made), making sure to respect the maximum fill level: 1.6 L for cold use and 1.4 L for hot use.
4. Position the motor unit on the jug. The soup maker will not operate if the motor unit is not fitted correctly.
5. Plug the soup maker into the power socket.
6. Press once on the start / cancel button (10) to turn on the appliance; all 4 buttons will start flashing in red color.
7. Then choose one of the 4 modes you want to use with the select button. Once the program is selected, press the start / cancel button (10). The program starts.

Smooth soup mode

The "smooth soup" mode is a program of 25 to 30 minutes alternating mixing and cooking. You can use this mode to make your smooth soups, coulis...

1. Press the button of the selection (5) until the button for the smooth soup (6) lights up
2. Press the start / cancel button (10) to start the program
3. At the end of the program, an alarm will ring, your preparation is ready

Note :

• During cooking, it is quite normal for the appliance to make a noise, blend the food several times and small jets of steam to escape from the appliance.
• You can also interrupt the preparation at any time by pressing the start / cancel button (10). The appliance switches to standby mode.

Chunky soup mode

Use this mode to make your soups with pieces. The "chunky soup" mode is a 25 to 30 minute program.

1. Press the button of the selection (5) until the button for the chunky soup (6) lights up
2. Press the start / cancel button (10) to start the program
3. At the end of the program, an alarm will ring, your preparation is ready

Note :

- You can also interrupt the preparation at any time by pressing the start / cancel button (10). The appliance switches to standby mode.

- This program does not have an automatic mixing function : use the manual blending mode (8) to obtain the desired texture.

Manual blending mode

The "manual blending" mode is a program that does not have a cooking function. Use this mode to adjust the consistency of your preparations, create smoothies, or salad. It's a program of about 3 minutes.

1. Press the button of the selection (5) until the button for manual blending (6) lights up
2. Press the start / cancel button (10) to start the program
3. At the end of the program, an alarm will ring, your preparation is ready
4. If the preparation has not reached the texture you want, you can repeat this step 1 to 2 times.

Note :

• This program does not have a cooking function.
• The manual mode works intermittently between mixing and pause time.
• Do not mix dry foods
• Do not use this program more than 5 times

Auto cleaning mode

The auto cleaning mode allows you to wash your jug in stainless steel after your preparations. It is a program of 4 minutes.

1. Fill the jug with hot water up to the max.
2. Press the button of selection (5) until the button of auto cleaning (9) lights up.
3. Press the start / cancel button (10) to start the program.
4. If the preparation has not reached the texture you want, you can repeat this step 1 to 3 times.

Note :

- Do not add soap in the jug. This may damage the product

Auto memory function

The product has an auto memory function. This function allows you to add more ingredients in the jug during the cycle, while keeping the setting selected at the beginning.

1. Unplug the product or remove the lid to put it in pause mode.
2. Carefully remove the lid and add the ingredients in the jug.
3. Replace the lid and reconnect the product. The product will resume the cycle at the point where the previously selected setting was paused.

Note :

- Please note that the auto memory function will keep for about 3 minutes after unplugging or removing the lid

IV. CARE AND STORAGE

• Always unplug the appliance and wait for its complete stop before dismantling it.
- Never immerse the motor unit, its power cord or its plug in water or any other liquid. Clean them with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean the surface of the soup maker base unit and lid with a soft, damp cloth.
- Warning: The blades cannot be removed and are very sharp; be extremely careful when cleaning the inside of the bowl.

V. TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

VI. TREATMENT OF THE ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES AT THE END OF LIFE

Application in the countries belonged to the European Union and in other European countries which have a selective collect system. This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office or your household waste disposal service. The packaging material is recyclable. Eliminate the packaging in an environmentally friendly way and make it available to the recycling collection service.
