SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation.
• This heater gets hot during use. Do not touch the hot surfaces.

CAUTION

Risk of burns! Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Special attention is required when children and vulnerable persons are present.

• Do not move the device when it is in operation. Wait for the heater to cool completely before moving it and see if it has been unplugged.
• Place the device at least 1.5m away from easily flammable materials such as furniture, trees, leaves, dry grass and shrubs.
• The heater must not point with the heating element up towards the ceiling. The heating element must face the surface to be heated.

Note: To avoid overheating, the heater must not be covered. Do not use the device to dry clothes.

• Keep children and pets away from the device.
• Children over 8 years as well as mentally, sensory and physically impaired persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them beforehand and understand the associated risks.
• Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Do not use the device if it shows signs of damage or malfunction.
• Do not attempt to repair or adjust electrical or mechanical functions on this device. The device does not contain any user serviceable parts. Only a qualified electrician should carry out maintenance or repair work.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Do not touch the heating element with bare hands. If the device is accidentally touched, remove fingerprints with a soft cloth, otherwise they will burn into the element and cause premature heater failure.

• Do not replace or attempt to remove the heating element.

• Do not use the radiant heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
• This product must not be exposed to the elements for a long period of time.
• Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
• Do not run the power cord under a carpet. Do not cover the power cord with carpets, rugs, or the like. Lay the power cord so that no one can trip on it.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the device.
• Make sure that no foreign objects enter the ventilation or opening of the heater, as this can lead to electric shock, fire or damage to the device.
• To avoid a possible fire, the ventilation slots must not be blocked.
• The heater has hot and sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, explosive and / or flammable liquids are being used or stored. Keep the device away from hot surfaces and open flames.
• If possible, avoid using an extension cord as it can overheat and cause a fire. However, if you do need to use an extension cord, make sure that it is suitable for outdoor use and, preferably, has a circuit breaker or is plugged in.
• Always make sure that the heater is plugged into a suitable socket that has been approved for outdoor use.
• Always unplug the appliance and make sure that the device has completely cooled down before transporting, cleaning or storing it.
• This heater is intended for domestic use only and should not be used for commercial purposes. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• The use of attachments on the heater is not recommended.
• Do not use this heater with a programmable socket, timer, separate remote control, or any other device that automatically turns the heater on as there is a risk of fire if the heater is covered or incorrectly positioned.

ASSEMBLY

• Secure the heater properly to the wall or place it in the correct position.
• The device must be installed in such a way that it cannot be used by a person taking a shower or bath.
  The device must be mounted so that it is not directly under a socket.
• If the power cable is damaged, please contact an electrician or the customer service.
  Always stow away the heater when not in use.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled down before putting it away.
• Do not use the device unsupervised in the living room of elderly people or near children.
• To prevent damage, please make sure that the device is placed at a safe distance from curtains, furniture and other objects.

OPERATION

• Carefully remove the heater from the box. Please be sure to keep the box, as you can store the device in it during warmer seasons.
• Attach the heater as described in the installation instructions.
• Make sure that you do not use the same socket for the heater and other high-power appliances, as this could lead to a mains overload.

Switching on the device

• Once you have connected the device to the power supply, the power indicator on the device will light up.
• To turn the device on, press . The display shows the current room temperature. If the room temperature is lower than the preset temperature, the heating function is automatically activated. The indicator light then flashes.

Button lock

• First press the button. The indicator light will turn on and all buttons are locked.

Screen on/off

• When you press the button, the screen will turn off, but the indicator light will remain on.
• Press the button again to turn the screen back on.

Temperature setting

• Press or to set the temperature. Pressing the or buttons increases or decreases the temperature by one degree at a time. The maximum temperature setting is 45^ and the minimum temperature setting is 5^ . Set the desired temperature and the device will automatically save the set temperature, return to working mode and display the room temperature.

Time setting

• When you press the TIME button, the display shows [88]. Press the or button to set the time before auto power off. The minimum is one hour and the maximum time setting is nine hours. Each time you press the or button, the set period will increase or decrease by one hour. After you set the time, the system will save it automatically and return to working mode. The temperature and the time until switch-off are then displayed on the screen.

Switching off the appliance

• Press the button to turn off the device. The indicator light will stay on even after the power is turned off if the device is plugged into the power outlet.

• To avoid damage, the power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or another qualified person.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents for cleaning and never immerse the device in water.
• Clean the outside with a soft and damp cloth.
• This device contains parts that are not accessible to the user. Repairs may only be carried out by qualified specialists.
