2. Device description (Fig. 1)

3. Scope of delivery

  • 1x metal sawhorse
    • 2x support for squared timbers

  • Open the packaging and carefully remove the metal sawhorse.

  • Remove the packaging material, packaging and transport safety devices (if applicable).
  • Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
  • Check the device and accessory parts for transport damage.
  • If possible, keep the packaging until the end of the warranty period.

ATTENTION!

The device and the packaging material are not children's toys! Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffocating!

4. Proper use

Always observe the proper use of your metal saw-horse.

The metal sawhorse is intended for use as stand for do-it-yourself and hobby purposes. Do not climb onto the metal sawhorse or the working plate. Any other use or change to the product is considered improper use and involves considerable risk of accidents.

Attention: Ensure that the workpiece support is secure and not tilted!

Do not use the metal sawhorse as scaffolding or ladder. Ensure that all handgrips, nuts and screws are tightened before use. The maximum payload is 500 kg. Ensure that the metal sawhorse is on a level, firm and stable floor.

Any use beyond this is improper use. The manufacturer is not responsible for the resultant damages, the user bears this risk alone.

Please observe that our equipment was not designed with the intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent work.

5. Safety information

  • Check the metal sawhorse for damage each time before use.
    • Always ensure the metal sawhorse is secure when setting it up.

7. Before commissioning

Check the sawhorse for transport damage. Report any damage immediately to the transport company which was used to deliver the sawhorse.

8. Assembly and operation (fig. 2-4)

  • Place the metal sawhorse including support surface (2) on the floor.
  • Press the locking button (7) while unfolding the legs. (fig. 2)
  • Ensure that the centre strut (5) is completely unfolded.
  • Now place the metal sawhorse on the legs.
  • Hang the two supports for squared timber (3) onto the sides of the metal sawhorse. (fig. 4)
  • If necessary, the foldable racks (6) can be unfolded to place wooden panels or similar. (fig. 3)
  • With two horses combined, each with squared timber, a table-like surface can be provided. The side supports for squared timber (3) facilitate the conversion to a work table.

9. Cleaning, transport and storage

9.1 Cleaning

  • We recommend that you clean the device directly after every use.
  • Wipe swarf and dust off the device from time to time with a cloth.
  • Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they could attack the plastic parts of the device.

9.2 Transport (fig. 5)

Fold up the legs (4) and use the carrying handle (1) to transport the metal sawhorse. (fig. 5)

9.3 Storage

Attention!

Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children. The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and 30 °C.

Store the tool in its original packaging.

Cover the tool to protect it from dust or moisture.

Store the operating manual with the tool.

10. Disposal and recycling

The device is supplied in packaging to avoid transport damages. This packaging is raw material and can thus be used again or can be reintegrated into the raw material cycle.

The device and its accessories are made of different materials, such as metals and plastics. Take defective components to special waste disposal sites.
