How to use the TL09-B device for the first time?

Before first use, charge the 18650 batteries for 2 to 3 hours. Insert them into the device ensuring correct polarity (positive pole up). Turn on the device by pressing once for Mode1 (all LEDs). Hold the wand about 1 inch (approx. 2.5 cm) from the painful area for 1 to 3 minutes.

What are the different modes of the device?

The device offers 3 modes: Mode1 (all LEDs: 630, 660, 710, 850, 900 nm), Mode2 (red only: 630, 660 nm), and Mode3 (infrared only: 710, 850, 900 nm). Pressing 4 to 6 times activates 10 Hz pulsing for each mode. The 7th press turns off the device.

How long does each treatment session last?

The default timer is 5 minutes. For mild pain, use 1 dose (1 minute) once a day. For moderate pain, 2 doses (2 minutes) two to three times a day. For deep pain, 3 doses (3 minutes) three times a day. Do not exceed 5 consecutive minutes; between areas, turn off the device for at least 1 minute.

How to clean and maintain the device?

Clean the exterior with a soft dry cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, do not immerse the device in water or any liquid. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct light. If unused for more than a month, remove the batteries to prevent corrosion.

Can I use the device near the eyes?

No, do not treat near the eyes. Do not look directly at the light; always wear the protective goggles provided during use.

What types of batteries are recommended?

Use only rechargeable 18650 batteries. The provided charger allows recharging in 2 to 3 hours. Do not use other battery types.

What if I don't feel immediate relief?

Some people feel immediate relief, others gradually. Commit to 3 weeks of consistent treatment (3 times a day, 1 to 3 minutes per area). Most users notice a decrease in pain after this period.

Can I stop my other treatments when starting light therapy?

No, do not abruptly stop your other treatments. Start light therapy alongside. Once optimal relief is achieved, you can consult your doctor to gradually reduce other medications.

Is the device compliant with standards?

Yes, this device complies with FCC Part 15 rules. It meets the limits for a Class B digital device. It is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment.

How to dispose of the device at end of life?

1) Commit to a 3-week Treatment Plan. While many people achieve pain relief from Red Light Therapy almost immediately, others experience measurable pain relief incrementally over time. Depending upon injury type, severity, and different pain pathways involved, people vary in therapy response time.

This is why we recommend committing to a 3-week Treatment. If you see results right away, great, continue treating as needed. However, if you do not feel relief as quickly, know that this is normal, so try not to get frustrated. Simply treat your pain consistently with 3 quick treatments per day, for up to minutes each time per treatment spot. After 3 weeks of consistent red light therapy, most people experience a diminishing of the pain.

2) Do not suddenly stop your other treatments upon beginning light therapy. Although you may not be satisfied with current

treatments, they may be having a partial effect on the level of pain. While continuing with your current treatments, start your light therapy, giving your red device time to provide optimal relief. After you have achieved maximum pain relief from your device, you may then consider slowly weaning yourself off other medications or treatments. If you plan to reduce or stop prescription medication, first consult with your physician.

For many people, this works so well that they are able to come off pills completely. Others are able to reduce the amount of pain medications they are on, reducing the risk of drug side effects.

Hold the unit over the painful area at a distance anywhere from touching the skin to 1 inch away from the skin, depending on the depth of treatment desired. The red light penetrates up to inch into your tissues or joints.
