• Do not pick up glowing or harmful objects with the sweeper. The removal of gel-shaped, liquid, flammable and explosive substances is not permitted.
• After removing metal, glass or sharp objects, firm work gloves should be worn when emptying the waste container.

• Open the package and carefully remove the device from the package.
• Remove the packaging material as well as the packaging/transport fuses (if available).
• Check that the delivery is complete.
• Check the appliance and accessories for damage in transit.
• If possible, store the packaging until the end of the warranty period.

INTENDED USE

The intended use of the sweeper is to sweep flat and dry surfaces such as driveways, patio yards, etc....

The machine may only be used as intended.

This device is not designed for commercial or industrial use.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Installation of feed brushes (Figure 3-6)

• Insert the feed brush onto the sweeper.
• Then attach the feed brush with the cap.
  Pay attention to the lettering on the cap. Turn the cap in the direction of arrowhead.
• Repeat the procedure on the other side.
• To disassemble the feed brushes, turn the cap in the direction, remove the cap and the feeding brush.

MOUNTING OF PUSH BARS (FIGURE 7-10)

Mount the lower and upper push bar as shown in Figure 7 to 10. The height of the push bar can be adjusted by selecting the second mounting hole.

OPERATION

By pushing the sweeper, the feed brushes and the sweeping brush are rotated via the belt drive. The rotating feed brushes sweep the dirt to the center. This is collected by the sweeping brush and transported to the waste container.

EMPTYING THE WASTE CONTAINER (FIGURE 11)

Warning! Dusts can be hazardous to health. Wear a dust mask!

Remove the waste container from the appliance as shown in Figure 11. Empty and insert the waste collector connect back into the device.

PARKING POSITION (FIGURE 8,12,13)

The device can be folded for space-saving storage. To do this, loosen the lower nuts with quick-release function until the pins (figure 8) pop out of the fixation and unfold the push bar (figure 12). Alternatively, the upper nuts with quick release function can be loosened afterwards.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Keep guards and air vents as dust and dirt free as possible.
  • We recommend that you clean the appliance immediately after each use.
• Clean the appliance regularly with a damp cloth and some soap.
• Do not use detergents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the device. Make sure that no water can enter the inside of the appliance.

STORAGE

Store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place. The optimal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C. Keep the power tool in its original packaging.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Trouble	Possible Cause Solution
The rotation of the guide wheel is not flexible, and the pushing is not smooth.	When the pushing is not smooth, lift the machine to check the chassis guide wheel for any entanglement of small branches or debris, which may cause inflexibility in rotation.	Remove the debris around the guide wheel.
The feeding brush is not flexible in rotation and difficult to push when pushed.	When it is difficult to push forward, lift the machine to check if the chassis cannot be swept up due to excessive or large debris branches, and wrap them around the feeding brush.	Remove large branches and debris that cannot be swept up.
When the machine is pushed, the wheels slide and do not rotate.	The ground is flat and smooth, or there is water on the ground, which leads to insufficient friction of the rollers and slipping when pushed.	The machine cannot work on surfaces that are too smooth or have water stains.
