How do I adjust the temperature on the Vevor DSH-D1 heat gun?

Turn the temperature adjustment knob (potentiometer) to select the desired temperature between 50 °C and 600 °C. Refer to the temperature vs. time table in the manual for specific applications.

The temperature is not stabilising, what should I do?

If the temperature fluctuates, the potentiometer may be defective. Replace the potentiometer. Also check that the tool is not obstructed and that ventilation is correct.

The motor is sparking, is this normal?

Excessive sparks often indicate worn carbon brushes. Replace the carbon brushes with original parts. Check their condition regularly.

The heat gun no longer heats or the temperature is too high without the possibility of reduction

This may be caused by a short circuit in the SCR or a failure of the temperature controller. Replace the SCR or the controller. Always let the tool cool down before storing it.

How do I clean and maintain my Vevor DSH-D1 heat gun?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the air intakes with a dry brush. Regularly check the carbon brushes and replace them if necessary. Do not use solvents.

Can I use an extension cord with the heat gun?
