Safety Precautions:

Before using this equipment, you must know its performance and safety points. 1. The using voltage and power should be according to the requirements of the equipment. The power should have a reliable earthing protection line and other safety protection measures. If you use the three-phase vacuum pump, please pay attention to the turning direction of the motor. 2. The daily maintenance, disassembling, and cleaning in certain periods should be according to the regulations of the instruction manual. Use suitable tools to install or disassemble the equipment to avoid damage. 3. The machine is equipped with a steam separator to prevent liquid from flowing into the vacuum pump and damaging it. The vacuum gauge and pressure regulating valve are more intuitive when installed on the steam separator.

The correct method and order of milking:

1. Milking operation method

(1) Turn on the power of the milking machine. Next, turn off the vacuum switch, open the vacuum tank, and start the vacuum pump. Then the finger of the vacuum gauge rises stably.

(2) The vacuum pressure becomes big by adjusting the "pressure regulating valve" clockwise; The vacuum pressure becomes small by adjusting the "pressure regulating valve" anti-clockwise. Adjust the vacuum pump to the normal vacuum degree position (0.045~0.05MPa), turn on the switch of the vacuum pump, then you can start to milk.

2. The order of milking

(1) The preparation of milking

a. Clean the cow's udder and teats, then dry them. It is advisable to clean with water containing a biocide.

b. Before attaching the teat cups, hand-milk 2-3 squirts from each teat. Then place the teat in the special cup to check if the teat is normal.

c. Clean and dry the cow's udder and teats. After confirming they are normal, attach the claw within 1 minute.

(2) Method of attaching the teat cups

a. First, hold the claw horizontally so that the four teat cup liners hang naturally. Then, the liners can close the four claw openings by the weight of the stainless steel cups. Next, still holding the claw horizontally, position it under the cow's udder and open the claw's vacuum switch with the hand that is holding the claw horizontally. (If the claw is tilted, it will cause the liner on the lower side to admit air, affecting the normal operation of the milking machine.)

b. Hold the top of a teat cup with your thumb, ring finger, and little finger of the other hand, leaving your index and middle fingers free to guide the teat into the liner. Keep the stainless steel cup upright. Before doing this,

you should disconnect the rubber hose at the bottom of the liner to ensure that the stainless steel cup does not admit air when held upright. Then quickly cover the teat with the liner. (If a cow has a teat that cannot be milked, use the special rubber teat cap on the cup opening to prevent air leakage.)

(3) Milking process

a. The milking time varies for each cow, usually taking 3-5 minutes. When you see that the four teats are nearly finished milking, hold the claw with one hand and pull it forward slightly to help strip the remaining milk from the rear quarters. Pull the claw forward again. If you find no more milk, you can remove the teat cups.

(4) Method of removing the teat cups

a. When the four teats are finished milking, you should remove the teat cups promptly. To do so, pull the claw's switch down to shut off the vacuum.

b. With one hand, close the vacuum switch on the claw; with the other hand, gently pull the four teat cups off at a slight angle.

Note:

1. Do not over-milk, as this can cause udder health problems.
2. Do not pull the claw straight down, as residual vacuum in the claw could damage the teats. Instead, pull it at an angle to allow air to enter and reduce the vacuum, then lower it naturally.

The difference between milking by machine and milking by hand:

1. Improve the sanitation of milk.

Milking by machine: Absorb the milk directly into a disinfectant-sealed milk barrel to avoid pollution.

Milking by hand: Milk is sprayed into the milk barrel through the air, and the milk is polluted by dust from the cow or the air.

1. Improve the efficiency of milking.

Milking by machine: It takes 3-4 minutes to milk.

Milking by hand: It takes 10-15 minutes to milk.

It saves 2/3 of the time to milk by machine instead of by hand.

1. Improve the output.

According to several years of using the milking machine, it has been proven that milking by machine instead of by hand can improve output by 5%.

Reasons:

(1) Milking by machine can milk four teats at one time, and the rhythm and strength are unified so that the cow can adjust to it.

This is good for the growth of cows and improves output.

(2) When milking by hand, because the strength and rhythm of the milker are not unified, and he can only milk two teats at one time, the cow will not feel satisfied, which will influence the normal growth of the cow, and then the output of milk will not rise.

Cleaning method:

After finishing the milking, you must start to clean. If you don't clean the milking equipment at once, the bacilli will propagate quickly.

The cleaning order (daily cleaning):

1. Clean the claw, milk pipe, and milk barrel with water.
2. Cleaning preparation: Use a big pot with full water, put the claw in the pot, and connect the vacuum pump. Absorb the water into the milk barrel from the claw. Turn off the vacuum switch of the vacuum tank, open the cover of the milk barrel, then pour the water.
3. Circulation cleaning of cleaning agent: Pour the cleaning agent with the concentration to about 70°C water and homogenize. Put the claw in the pot, and turn on the vacuum switch to absorb the hot cleaning agent into the milk barrel. After absorption, pour the cleaning agent back into the pot, then circulate the absorption until the temperature falls to 40°C.
4. Clean with normal temperature water 2-3 times. Absorb the water from the pot into the milk barrel, and clean the cleaning agent in the equipment.
5. Pour the water, dry it, and put the milking equipment in a clean and airy place for the next use.
6. Normally, the alkalescence and acidity cleaning agents are used circularly. 3-day alkalescence, then 1-day acidity cleaning agent.
