Task and function

Task

Fastener driving tool PKT-8-RKP100 drives in round head nails 65-100 mm long with a shaft diameter of 2.8–3.1 mm.

Fastener driving tool PKT-8-PR100 drives in half head nails 65-100 mm long with a shaft diameter of 2.8–3.1 mm.

The nails may only be driven into wood materials with a maximum strength of C30 in accordance with EN 338.

Functional principle

The nails are driven into the wood material by compressed air. The energy sources are the pressure accumulator, which can be filled with cartridge KT-1000, and the rechargeable battery.

The tool has two triggering processes for nail driving:

Single triggering with safety follow-up

A triggering process that allows one single driving process generated by the triggering mechanism after the triggering safety device has been activated. Additional driving processes can only be triggered if the triggering mechanism and triggering safety device have returned to the original position.

Contact triggering with automatic reset

The triggering mechanism is printed and held. In this state, every time the triggering safety device is pressed within 5 seconds, a driving process is generated. After 5 seconds without any contact with the material, the tool goes back to single triggering.

For adjustments to the triggering process see page 46.
